I've been an empty nester for over 3 years and really enjoying my space, peace, and quiet. Actually surprised how many men in their 40's on this site who have young children. I like a first date to be simple, and somewhere relatively quiet, so we can talk and get to know each other. So coffee/tea/drinks would be my 1st choice. If there's chemistry perhaps go out for a nice dinner then maybe a couple games of pool.
