Some of my closest friends are in my life because I took the chance and said "hi" to a stranger. I am just a few months away from being an empty nester, but have a home with 2 Golden Retrievers and 3 cats. Aside from a part time job in healthcare, and having my own business, I am involved in volunteer work, and try to give my time to help others when I can. Although I am very strong and independant, I also enjoy walking hand in hand with a warm and caring man to share with him the softness of being a woman. I myself, will no doubt, be full of nervous anticipation of meeting for a first date. Likely meet at a resturant or pub, or a stroll through the zoo. Lots of talking, smiling and laughter as we get to know each other and hopefully grow more at ease. I guess where we met for this wonderful date, would depend on what happens next. ie afternoon at the zoo may lead to dinner. If we don't hit it off so well, we go our separate ways and wish each other all the best and goodness that life has to offer. If we do hit it off great, then we make plans to see each other again and see where life takes us.

I work a lot, but when I am not working, I like to go camping, go for long walks,hiking fishing and hunting, watch TV or movies at home with someone special...
