Like most in our 40’s... I’.. lived fast and loved hard... worked too much and slept too little... and still have a soft spot for 80’s rock ballads. These days I enjoy the quieter side of life… the scent of the flowers when working in the garden, watching the dog roll in the snow when I talk her for a stroll, swaying to some sultry blues, sharing conversation over coffee or a glass of wine. Keeping balance between work, personal interests, friends and family is important to me. I’m a professional with a range of interests... riding my motorcycle and attending the ballet are two of my favourites. The early chapters were all about the quest for strength, wisdom and independence… so I’ve learned to be handy on the tools and renovated my own home… rode horseback in the mountains and my Harley across the country, relocated for work and spent some years having more coffee than sleep… loved, laughed and cried along the way and wrote a book of poetry about it. I’d like to share the next chapters with a partner... laughing until our eyes water… Sunday morning coffee… reading in the front of the fire… dancing to slow music… strolling at sunset… holding hands… intense kisses… getting lost in your eyes.I enjoy the company of people who are genuine. I value loyalty, honesty, integrity, a strong work ethic and appreciate a great sense of humour. Physical affection, chemistry, confidence, personal appearance and how you handle yourself matter to me. I’m equally comfortable in the little black dress or boots and jeans...the occasion helps decide the dress code. I can be serious and I love to laugh often…a riotous sense of humour that fluctuates from dry to sexual innuendo. I enjoy a glass of red wine or a cold beer (in the bottle).
