Watching the sun rise and set;; burying my feet in the sand on a warm sunny beach; cuddling; kissing; warm homemade apple pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a sip of good scotch, running in the fresh spring rain ... these are a few of my favorite things.I have a unique work schedule, and as a result I am rewarded with some delightfully unique visiting times with family and friends. This has also lead me to being a social butterfly one day and homebody the next - both are equally enjoyable.All good music is on my enjoyment list, but my radios are set to CBC1 (bedside) and X92.9 (car). I delight in hearing my daughter practice her classical pieces on the piano. I also have a soft spot for musicals.I am open to adventure, quite capable of laughing at myself, and thoroughly enjoy learning about almost everything ... especially people.So here's the thing ... I have not actually been on a real date since ... ***. Wow. That seems like a lifetime ago. So, the idea of actually dating both terrifies and excites me; and I am not entirely comfortable with this on line thing ... I like to see who I'm chatting with. Deep down, so deep down I'd almost forgot, I am a hopeless romantic. It would absolutely rock my world to meet an honest, loving, affectionate, kind hearted, man who cares not only about who he's with, but who he is - inside and out. I do not subscribe to the book-cover judgement group, but I do subscribe to taking care of one's self. I am a down to earth, honest, loving, affectionate woman with a playful side and more than a fair share to give. I am happy. To those who think they know me, I appear to be rather outgoing, but truth be told, I am quite reserved in unfamiliar territory. What this means is, I am not afraid to take the bull by the horns, but I do like to know where the horns are first :-p Well that, and I grew up as an extreme introvert who finally figured out that wasn't really going to work so well in the real world.Oh, and as for honest ... sometimes painfully so.
