I like traveling and visiting new places. I like nature, like to hike and explore , etc. I not a major camper but do enjoy being outdoors. I like computers but are not the best at working on them. I am learning though. I love to travel but have not gotten to do a lot of that lately. I work more than one job so do not have lots of time but I like to stay busy. I love the elderly and work with them for my part time job . I work for the local Area Department of Aging teaching them exercise classes and getting people to volunteer for them. I do a lot of public speaking too. I am also a teacher for my full time job, so it is good that I love kids! I work with middle school students mainly teaching English and Math. IBesides loving other people's children, I have two wonderful sons, ages 16 and 24, of my own. Both sons have always been busy and active too. I do not have much time left of being taxi mom and sports/activities mom. I am finding myself with more time for socializing than I used to have. Though it is one of the toughest jobs that I know of , I love being a mom. I enjoy making new friends and dating. I would definitely be interested in a long term relationship with the right person. You can ask me anything, and I will be honest.. I feel that is necessary in any good relationship. I am also trustworthy, compassionate, loving, giving, caring, and good-hearted. Laughing and talking together to get to know someone is important. I believe that having a good sense of humor and being able to laugh at oneself is important too. I believe there needs to be some spark or chemistry for things to develop beyond a friendship. The physical attraction has to be there as well. Beauty is on the inside and the outside both, and what is beautiful to one is not necessarily beautiful to another. I am up for just about anything but I think that someplace loud is not the best for the initial meeting unless you plan for someplace quiet later in the date. I have had a lot of fun activity dates too. Just warn me what to wear. LOL

Hi, I am very crafty and a bit artsy, I am in the health care field and I love my work.I am very sensitive and even emotional at times but it makes me very good at what I do.I love many different types of music but not rap and country only in small doses.I have been separated for over a year after 15 years and will be divorced soon. I have dated a bit and enjoy it on some level but eventually I would like to find someone special. I have 50% custody of our youngest son ( the only one at home now) so I find myself with free time and where as I love going out to eat and movies and love trying new things I also love just hanging at home watching movies or whatever.I'm looking for someone who is ok with kids although my youngest is 13 so no little ones. I'm ok if he has kids and would consider that a bonus. I want someone who is kind and honest as I always try to be and I don't like games. I'm a bit old school about dating meaning you make a date you keep a date and you expect it to be a chance to get to know someone and that's it, the rest must come naturally.I am not perfect and I am not looking for someone perfect. I work hard and I exercise as often as I can, I am pretty careful about what I eat but just like many middle aged people I battle with some excess weight. I have been told that I am very sweet and I am a good cook, I enjoy doing nice things for the people I care about. Coffee or a drink fallowed by a walk if its going well, I find it a really nice way to get to know somebody.

A romantic at heart and a scientist by training, I'm considerate, flexible and pragmatic. My interests include literature (I'm an avid reader, especially of English authors and the classics), music, the culinary arts, science and languages. Tropical beaches are a favorite place for me. I have a Masters degree in Biology (I also studied linguistics). I am at present working as a German to English translator (I am an accredited translator). I have also worked as a high-school science teacher and am considering doing so again in the future. As far as relationships are concerned, I was in a very long-term relationship (to all intents and purposes, we were like a married couple). It would be great if I could meet someone whose personality is compatible with mine, who is optimistic and enjoys life. The person I am looking for should be flexible and not too rigid in their thinking (but please note that I am myself also very flexible and willing to make compromises). Chemistry is an absolutely crucial factor, and it could convince me to waive some (or many!) of my other criteria. Imagination and creativity would be a great plus in your favor, and it would be particularly nice if you are fond of literature. I would like to have a casual conversation on the first date - it would be nice if we could meet for a meal.
