I find it hard to describe myself. But I guess the most important thing to know is my family and friends are very important to me and I guard those relationships. I am independent and intelligent, although I think it's more interesting to be curious than smart. I'm interested in people-- all kinds. I like hearing about others' perspectives on life. I don't have to agree with you (or you with me) to like or even love you. I've traveled a lot, walked some interesting paths, and have had some even more interesting detours along the way. I love that. I try to live in the moment as much as possible, or at least slow down enough to find meaning in what's going on around me. That said, I can be silly and playful; I love to laugh and make you laugh too.I'm in a helping field and my professional life is an important part of who I am. Most important of course are my children. If you have children you understand that. And you understand unconditional love. I definitely like to have fun when not working; movies, dinners out, wine, live music, cooking, friends, travel. I've been divorced for a while and have dated, but have not been ready for anything serious. My children are a little older now, more independent, and I hope to have more and more time to offer to a relationship. After my divorce I thought I did not want to marry again. What I really want is to commit myself to a person and they to me. If that means marriage that's great. If not, that's ok too.
