Woman. 49 years old. Zodiac sign: Taurus.
Looking for: man. In age: 46-56
Hi there, and thanks for viewing my profile. I'm an upbeat woman who's been fortunate to live in many places and meet a variety of people. I enjoy many things, but anything where humor and laughter are involved is always a favorite. I enjoy watching football, basketball, and baseball; tailgating is one of my favorite things to do! I've been known to wager in a little competition every now and then, as long as I get a handicap and a huge head start :) I'm certainly a “girlie girl” (please don't mistake that for high maintenance) with a touch of tom boy and enjoy a strong, confident man who just so happens to enjoy engaging in friendly banter and teasing around with me. I'm an intelligent and driven woman. I love discussing a variety of topics, and I prefer stimulating conversation over drama and gossip. I'm confident but not arrogant. I'm passionate and sensitive but also strong and capable. I'm extremely loyal and very much self aware. I have a great capacity for love and life and am a very compassionate person.Okay. Seriously, I struggle to describe my perfect match because he could be basically anyone from anywhere. As I'm aging, I'm finding that I enjoy meeting men from different walks of life (don't get me wrong: you must have teeth, a good source of income, character, intelligence, and attractiveness). I've decided not to put too many geographical limitations on my profile because I don't necessarily believe that the love of my life lives within a 50 mile radius. I imagine he's imperfect and comfortable with it - not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. He's attractive, in good shape, and takes pride in his appearance. He probably doesn't mind that I'm a little bit silly at times, and he likes to play and have fun. When faced with a situation that looks hopeless he'll start laughing and tackle it willingly. He's a lifelong learner and believes that a relationship with his love interest deserves as much effort as he puts into anything else in his life. My job is as important as his, but I know that in order for a relationship to thrive, both partners must put time and energy into it. What I've learned most from my prior relationships is that both partners must put effort and dedication into the relationship, and that once trust is broken...it's hard to recover - so don't break the trust. My guy requires some time alone, yet he looks forward to building a connection and enjoys the magic of chemistry - he likes getting wrapped up and whispered to at night....and of course he totally digs me (despite all my faults), and I feel the same about him as well. I do love the pictures of men proudly holding their fish or deer they conquered: it shows they can provide for their woman. :). Cutest!I hesitate to write anything negative, but there are a few things I want to put out there so that you won't waste your time. If you have commitment issues and are only here for computer entertainment or to constantly be validated then please pass me by. I believe a relationship should begin with a degree of friendship, a touch of butterflies, a twinkle in the eyes, flirtation, admiration, and an appreciation of what the other brings to the table. I believe that a kiss is very telling and vital in determining if sparks will fly. Further Intimacy is reserved for someone very special.* I can't emphasize enough that if you can't be faithful in a relationship, then pass me by. I'll gladly support you doing that, but other than my daily four mile walk/run and weight workout four days a week, you won't see me participating in any extreme sports. Fishing, hunting, boating, and skiing are more my style. :) I believe that an initial date should be at a casual venue where there is no pressure on either of us and we can have a warm or cold drink together.

Woman. 47 years old. Zodiac sign: Capricorn.
Looking for: man. In age: 44-54
I've been divorced over a year now and have two kids (teens) who are the main focus of my life. But, to be honest, I'm missing the companionship of a man. I don’t want to get serious right now but my ultimate goal would be a committed relationship. However, right now I want to go out and have fun, take things slow and see where it goes from there. I enjoy virtually all activities from dancing, walks, travel and camping to just hanging out, laughing and watching a good movie. I am open to just about anything. I am not a needy person, I am self-sufficient and driven. I want the same in a man – someone who is financially stable. Sorry to be blunt, but I'm not interested in being the sugar momma nor am I looking for a sugar daddy (although it is nice to be spoiled once in a while and that goes both ways) Please don't contact me unless you're financially stable and can afford to go do fun things with me....I'm not interested in going backwards, only forward to enjoy what life has to offer...... I have been at my work for 19 years and plan to retire there within about 10 years. I love my job and take it very seriously. Vacations and leisure time are important to me, I love to travel and go on cruises with my girlfriends (the Caribbean is my favorite place). I served in the Army right out of high school and was stationed in Germany and I've been overseas to many different countries and would like to revisit those places someday. I was raised by a single mother who struggled most of her life to raise my brother and I. She inspired me to be strong and independent. I have been told I'm fun to be around. However, I feel kind of shy in new situations sometimes. Being single is not something I am used to and I am definitely out of practice when it comes to dating. It's been 20 years since I was single. I do miss the passion and the newness of a relationship. I like that feeling you get in your stomach (butterflies) when that connection is mutual. If I sound interesting, I'd like to start via *** how it goes from there. I am very responsible, definitely have my life together and I can afford to treat myself and my children well. I'm looking for someone between ***, fun to be around, responsible, has a sense of humor and just loves enjoying life. My mother passed away suddenly of a heart attack and I miss her a lot. I've learned that life is too short and you just never know when your time is up, so I'm getting out of my comfort zone and putting myself out there with the hope that I can rewrite my happy ending. If I don't ***, that means I'm not mutually interested, but thank you for taking the time to ***, if you don't have a picture, I won't respond. If I have to post some for your viewing pleasure, I want to see a recent picture of you too.........lol Would definitely meet in a public place, maybe over a drink or coffee to see if the chemistry was there.....I work in the legal field and my best friend works for corrections so you can imagine the stuff I hear and see........let's start over ***, then go from there...

Hi, I like to think of myself as an honest, outspoken, tell it like it is kind of person. I attend a local university full time, so my social life is limited at times. I like to get out once in a while and have a few drinks with friends. I like to camp, fish, travel, and just about anything pertaining to the outdoors, except when it is cold as heck outside...brrr. I am open minded and non-judgemental. I am a mom and a grandma, and I love my family more than anything. First date? what's that? I guess it would be nice to go out to eat and have a drink, maybe see a movie.
