Briefly, (well, that didn't happen- I'm back and forth to NJ as needed. Music is a big part of my life. I play classical piano, but for listening, its gotta be rock n roll! My taste is varied, from classic, to R & B, alternative, and the newer country that crossed over to rock style. I'm really into photography, and shoot pictures wherever I go, even from the back of a bike. I'm not a "biker", but do looove riding as a passenger on warm, sunny days! Don't have the cold weather gear, maybe I'll get chaps out here : ) Among other "likes": writing, mainly poetry, all aspects of nature, warm weather walks, good food, be it gourmet, ethnic, or a yummy burger from grill. I try to eat healthy, but have a weakness for chocolate and icecream. I adore children, most animals (can't pass a dog without stopping to say hi), teaching, learning, hiking outside or treadmilling with ipod inside : ) I'm happy being cozy inside, watching a movie, playing board games, cooking together, working on house projects, or going out, for a concert, photo hike, exploring museums, flea markets, and those wonderful festivals out here! I'm loving, giving, like to show it, and want the same. You can tell I am social, talkative, (REALLY? you ask) so if you want someone seen not heard, or don't enjoy good conversation, I'm not your girl. I love to listen and learn about you, remember details that are important, what you like/don't - that's what makes a caring relationship. I'm open-minded and like the same, can't tolerate prejudice or judgemental angry people. I'm going through a big transition with moving, career, etc.;happy every day" people, I might not fit the bill. That's my goal, but we all have good days, and bad, and I can't hide my emotions. I'm passionate about what I believe in, will support you, and hope you can be there for me too! Life isn't always easy, but it's better with someone who cares at the end of the day, loves you for who you are, accepts your faults because they feel your gifts outweigh them. It would be nice to find someone who can make my heart skip a beat whenever we meet, feel complete. Being a night owl, I prefer later, vs. coffee in bright daylight : o We can meet at a local place that has good vibes, shoot pool (I'll miss most shots ha ha) check out 16th Street Mall around sunset, walk in a park , all good. I love getting to know new people, for friendship or if it works out, more. **NOTE: If you are very regimented, can't understand how someone might be a little late, It's a flaw I'm working on is all I can say **

******No Inmates******Yes...this is a lot to read...but it gives you a good idea of who I am. :) I'm just looking for friends first. I do still have all my warm and fuzzy dreams of finding my soul mate...someone to share a perfectly normal, boring and wonderful night curled up on the couch watching a movie...or sitting around with a bottle of Jack as we do spot-on impressions of our co-workers that we don't like...lol...or eating a big bowl of hamburger gravy at 12:00 on a rainy Sunday and then spooning up for a nice long nap. :). I like normal and comfortable and I think it's what you do together most days of the year and at home that are the most important things to look for in a person.What I like in a man...I like tall or taller than me and a man with some meat on him...lol...good for snuggling! I also like blue collar, maybe a little redneck or good ole boy...lol..but sweet, kind and passionate where it counts...a gentleman..affectionate..I'm not into the motorcycle thing..but I do like a big truck...I like to be treated like a lady and I like to treat a good man like a man.;). Big muscles and big bank account...not important...big heart...super important :).More about me: I'm a romantic person, I wake up happy or at least positive, I stop and smell the roses, I love a great sense of humor, people that never smile bum me out...I don't like arguing and angst. Things I absolutely do not like (tolerate) or bend on: If you have a criminal history I do not, will not and can not hang out with you, same with drugs, no drugs users need apply. Seriously...those are biggies and there is no compromise. I also don't like dead-beat or rotten parents. There's nothing worse than seeing a child hurt, humiliated, *** neglected by a parent. Same with animals, same with your mama. It's all so telling and bad/cruel behavior towards all people, but especially those that love you the most, is a deal-breaker in friendship and in love with me. I have zero tolerance for angry, hot tempered, overly jealous, violent people. If you have ever hit a woman then go away. Seriously...I live a pretty drama free life and I will not have that kind of ugliness attached to me in any way. I'm a mellow peaceable type B)...lol. We're all grown up here and not youngsters anymore so lets all be realistic and honest...I don't look I did when I was 25 and chances are you don't either..;). I'm not a Barbie doll and I'm not thin...but I'm a friggin sweatheart...lol...;). No false advertising here...:)Lastly....chances are we have all had ex's that treated us poorly or whatever...I'm not your ex-wife and you're not my ex-husband so lets not punish each other for what others have done...Talk about it? Sure...of course...but if you're still bitter....we probably won't get along. I've been hurt too...we all have. I'm moving on..:) Also, though my boys are grown and gone...sigh..I'm very open to children :). I miss having a family with me so bring it on!****is a favorite...he slays me!Music: I'm all over the place!....lol.....***! I always say I can go from June Clever to Joan Jett in 60 seconds...lol! Coffee/Tea...let's chat...honestly. No pressure, no baloney. We might both be super cool, but not a match. Or we might really click and start a Once Upon A Time....

Crafty and creative describes me too. Enjoy the rumble of a classic hot rod! Not afraid to get dirty. Love the wind blowing in my hair...driving with the windows down, the beach, the mountain...simply love fresh air. A t-shirt, jeans and tennis shoes, small tattoo, cursing kind of girl. My daughter is 17 and a Senior this year. So I'm not tied down. I have a 23 year old son too. He moved out last year. Lover of life! I would just love it more if I had a partner to share it with. Not known as a baseball or football FAN per say... My daughter calls me a closet fan. I don't know the rules and regulations but I can certainly watch the game and know when we've scored. . I like to take off on the weekend looking for photo opportunities. Always looking for somewhere new. But certainly wouldn't mind staying home some evenings/mornings cuddling, watching movies, enjoying each other's company. A fan of all kinds of music. Rock, Country, Pop, 80's, just about anything. However, not a fan of rap. I'm thinking this first date category is a trick question. They say it's optional, but you can't have a second date if you don't have a first date. First date...
