I would have to describe myself as a spunky, passionate, thoughtful, sweet, sarcastic, playful, caring, intelligent, and sometimes a little nutty, lady! I love flowers, children, jewelry, ball gowns, shoes, beer, baseball, hockey, and even a naughty joke now and then! I enjoy cooking beautiful meals, lighting candles, and taking bubble baths! I like to drive my car with the top down and my music turned up way too loud! I say this because I believe someones ability to maintain good, longterm, friendships says tons about who they are!! I am mother to two amazing young adults! They are the most important people in my life and I spend as much time with them as I can. I find that I am most attracted to a man who makes his family a priority and is involved with his children. A man who treats or treated his mother like she is god's gift to the world, speaks volumes to the man that he is. A true gentleman is a MUST in my book, as well.. It's all just great stuff!! I know that I want to be with a man who is secure in who he is and who knows how to treat a woman! Someone who can show his feelings and be honest about what he thinks. Beating around the bush is such a waste of time!! Don't you think? It is important to me that he takes pride in taking care of himself and knows how to enjoy the finer things life has to offer.(and the little things) :) I enjoy being out and about and would probably not do well with someone who is a MAJOR home body. Cozying up and relaxing at home is always nice, just not when it is 75 degrees and sunny outside! Look where we live!! I LOVE IT!! I have this little problem where my mind sometimes thinks my body is 24 years old. I am slowly learning...especially after a pretty major elbow surgery this past year! I do hope that I will always be able to participate in some sort of "sport" for many years to come! I am a romantic and a very sensual woman. Romance can happen anywhere..cooking dinner together and bumping into one another as we move around the kitchen...taking a walk and holding hands...locking eyes across a room and knowing that we are both thinking the same thing.. and kissing..and kissing..mmmm..I am also a fan of time for "ourselves"..if you like an occassional golf trip or hunting excursion with the boys, fine by me! I value my "alone" or "girl time". Two people who can maintain some range of "self" while being part of a great couple will stay together longer. Curious about the other 99.9% ? That would depend..... I'm not a big fan of "coffee dates"

This is the tough part.... I love to travel and have been to many places around the world - I enjoy the combination of seeing the beauty of other people, culture, my love for ethnic foods and trying the local wine. I do enjoy nice simple weekends, maybe a weekend drive for some time to explore from a long work week or just spend quality time together.I am also an avid reader and enjoy foreign films with too many interests to list. I am not mainstream, have my act together (I ask that in return), well-balanced and on the chill side.!!!I am a foodie and avoid chain restaurants like the plague. I am very thankful for phone apps when I am traveling. :) Oops, I am trying to keep my sense of humor out of this. Love to laugh and have fun with friends and family.I prefer men that are in relatively good shape, great sense of humor, educated, on the white collar side, committed and not serial daters (I am not one as well) since we are now adults. The urban cowboy (sorry no offense) deal is not my thing, I just do not get it, I guess we all have our own taste.Take Care Gentlemen! First Date, I would say keep it simple... A nice little quiet place in the evening, a glass of wine so we can talk and get to know one another. If things click more wine and some food!! I just started a new career . too expensive, but loved the sun.. I love to go places and explore on my days off, like beach, mountains, hiking,or a new restaurant. I am looking for someone to go with me and have some fun in life. My two kids are raised and on their own. start with just coffee and a walk downtown. Or meet for drinks and just talk. anything more than that is hard when trying to see if you might like someone.after that I would go to a nice dinner.
