This is the tough part.... I love to travel and have been to many places around the world - I enjoy the combination of seeing the beauty of other people, culture, my love for ethnic foods and trying the local wine. I should start with what I am looking for so the rest don’t have to read any further:Honesty, with me and with yourself.Passion, in what ever you do.Strength, both physical and emotional. Be strong enough to admit you have faults to.Ambition, don't settle for what comes your way, make it happen.Romance, it doesn't cost a thing if you do it right.Leadership, make a decision, if I don't like it I will tell you but I don't want to decide everything for you.Machismo, I don't want to think I’d have to defend you in a fight.Respect, I am a person with feelings; you should be able to acknowledge them and act accordingly.These are what I want, not requirements. Yes I want the perfect man but perfect for me is flexable. I am not looking for me so you don't have to like all or any of the things I like. I only list a few of the many things I already know I like but I am sure there is a lot I haven't tried yet. My only hobby these days is learning new things. Seems that's the only thing I am really good at. I bake to reduce stress but taking time off that to lose some weight. I love just going for a drive or even a walk. I love the beach and the mountains. I like all kinds of music. I had everything a person could ask for in life at one time or another and lost the most important thing of all the love of my life. I refuse to be alone there is too much life for one person. I hold honesty above all else. Sometimes the truth hurts. Every time I read my profile it seems a little depressing but it is not that way at all. Life is good. It certainly beats the alternative. I just want to be happy and happy with the person I spend my time with.One of the most important things I have learned is that I deserve better. I deserve to be treated with respect first of all, second to be treated like a lady. I won't settle for less. If you are offering less then don't bother here.Please don't expect a sex encounter. That is not going to happen here. If that is all you are looking for just move on. Meeting is not the first date. Meeting would be nothing more than a meeting in a public place, coffee, drinks, dinner?? or what ever. I have been reading some of the first date ideas on here and most of them sound pretty good to me. But again first date is different that just meeting.

Is there anyone out there who wants to get to know someone as a friend first? If you would like someone to go to lunch with, cook healthy meals together, do errands, play pool or go out to karaoke once in awhile, take a walk in the park, go shopping, go to farmer's markets, book stores, etc, let's talk and decide if we want to meet. I am hardworking, fun-loving, Feisty, passionate, caring, affectionate, honest, reliable, responsible, real, don't play games, and am looking for the same in a good friend, possibly more if things work out. Drama is not my cup of tea. I know we all have problems and situations that come up in life, but I believe it's how a person reacts to those things that determine if they turn into drama or not. I am a very young 49 year old in great health, have lots of energy, am into juicing and experimenting with vegetarian/vegan cooking, but still eat meat on occasion. A walk in the park would be nice, with time to talk and get to know each other.
