I know who I am, what I want and more importantly, I know what I do not want. I am proud of the person I have become throughout the years, many lessons learned and I'm sure many more to come. Sounds sick, but I think everyone needs to see a few dead people so that they can appreciate their lives more. Tis true, I spent my nights with stiffs, but never the right kind :-). Baggage meaning kids, ex's etc. Well my kids are mere handbags now. All over 18 and on their own, costing me a small fortune in college. As far as the ex goes?-). I have a 4 year old granddaughter that lights up my world. I know the whole grandma label doesn't sound vey sexy but I make her call me Aunt Michelle in public. Kidding. Kind of :-) she's so fun.Fun and brutally honest facts about me: I can't clean house unless I have the music blasting (I love all kinds of music even a little rap) and I dance and sing while doing it. Music always puts me in a good mood. I love to cook and, again, with music of course. If you're bleeding to death and you ask me if you are, I will say yes. Can't lie about something like that lol. I'm brutally honest like that. I strive everyday to be a better person then I was the day before. I'm not perfect by any means but I try. I love all people from all walks of life except people at Walmart. Kidding. I think you can learn as much from a homeless person as you can with a billionaire, just different types of things. I am not religious although I was raised with religion. I was one of those naughty Mormon girls that got kicked out. That whole sex before marriage thing got me! Lol. Please don't judge my lack of faith just because you have faith and I will be very respectful of that. If I had to say what the worst thing is about myself its that I'm a procrastinator sometimes. Other then that I'm pretty perfect. So kidding, I have lots of flaws but nothing major. I'm a lover, not a fighter. I'm not a huge animal fan but somehow I ended up with a 23 pound cat that I call fat **stard or CatDog. He's more dog than cat. He's a big lover boy but a hairy pain in the ars. Speaking of hair. Sorry guys but I do not like facial hair. If you have a mustache, beard or both, I just can't do it. It's a turn off for me. Just being honest, we all have our likes and dislikes and that's mine. Couple day stubble is fine and even sexy. What I want in a man? The million dollar question. It's simple really. You can not have been refrigerated for any length of time, warm, breathing on your own and have a strong , steady pulse. See most of you are in the running. I want someone with a sense of humor. If you can make me laugh you get extra bonus points. I think laughter in a relationship is very important. If you can cook, even more bonus points. Have confidence in yourself but don't be arrogant Big egos are a turnoff for me and if you have one, please have something really big to back it up and I'm not talking about a big truck :-) you can figure that one out. If not, lose the ego please. Someone confident and proud of who they are and all of their accomplishments is very sexy to me. I can't do needy so please have friends and your own interests, we both need that. Jealousy and anger are deal breakers for me. Both are wasted emotions and do no one any good. Must be respectful of me and others, be kind and loving and generous. Be family oriented. Family is so important. Thoughtfulness goes a long way in my world. I want someone who wakes up next to me in the morning and loves me more then he did when he laid down with me the night before. Romance is good and much needed in a relationship and it goes both ways. I work out to stay healthy for not only myself, because I'm vain :-) but for the one I'm with. I would like someone that thinks that is important as well. Let's face it, if your in shape and feel good about the way you look, it all comes out in the bedroom and every other room in the house :-). A great sex life is very important in a relationship. Just saying. If you don't think so, I'm not the one for you. Bottom line... You need to be very sexual. No whips and chains unless you go first. :-) totally kidding. I would have to describe myself as a spunky, passionate, thoughtful, sweet, sarcastic, playful, caring, intelligent, and sometimes a little nutty, lady! I love flowers, children, jewelry, ball gowns, shoes, beer, baseball, hockey, and even a naughty joke now and then! I enjoy cooking beautiful meals, lighting candles, and taking bubble baths! I like to drive my car with the top down and my music turned up way too loud! (while singing of course) I love "people" from all walks of life, and make a point to speak to as many of them as I can.I am quite personable and can hold my own in most any conversation. I am curious and often find myself "googling" all sorts of random things for more information. I ask questions and I am a good listener. I try to be. I am far from perfect and I know how to forgive. They are the most important people in my life and I spend as much time with them as I can. I find that I am most attracted to a man who makes his family a priority and is involved with his children. A man who treats or treated his mother like she is god's gift to the world, speaks volumes to the man that he is. A true gentleman is a MUST in my book, as well.. It's all just great stuff!! I know that I want to be with a man who is secure in who he is and who knows how to treat a woman! Someone who can show his feelings and be honest about what he thinks. Beating around the bush is such a waste of time!! Don't you think? It is important to me that he takes pride in taking care of himself and knows how to enjoy the finer things life has to offer.(and the little things) :) I enjoy being out and about and would probably not do well with someone who is a MAJOR home body. Cozying up and relaxing at home is always nice, just not when it is 75 degrees and sunny outside! Look where we live!! I LOVE IT!! I have this little problem where my mind sometimes thinks my body is 24 years old. I am slowly learning...especially after a pretty major elbow surgery this past year! I do hope that I will always be able to participate in some sort of "sport" for many years to come! I am a romantic and a very sensual woman. Romance can happen anywhere..cooking dinner together and bumping into one another as we move around the kitchen...taking a walk and holding hands...locking eyes across a room and knowing that we are both thinking the same thing.. and kissing..and kissing..mmmm..I am also a fan of time for "ourselves"..if you like an occassional golf trip or hunting excursion with the boys, fine by me! I value my "alone" or "girl time". Two people who can maintain some range of "self" while being part of a great couple will stay together longer. Curious about the other 99.9% ? Briefly, (well, that didn't happen- I'm back and forth to NJ as needed. Music is a big part of my life. I play classical piano, but for listening, its gotta be rock n roll! My taste is varied, from classic, to R & B, alternative, and the newer country that crossed over to rock style. I'm really into photography, and shoot pictures wherever I go, even from the back of a bike. I'm not a "biker", but do looove riding as a passenger on warm, sunny days! Don't have the cold weather gear, maybe I'll get chaps out here : ) Among other "likes": writing, mainly poetry, all aspects of nature, warm weather walks, good food, be it gourmet, ethnic, or a yummy burger from grill. I try to eat healthy, but have a weakness for chocolate and icecream. I adore children, most animals (can't pass a dog without stopping to say hi), teaching, learning, hiking outside or treadmilling with ipod inside : ) I'm happy being cozy inside, watching a movie, playing board games, cooking together, working on house projects, or going out, for a concert, photo hike, exploring museums, flea markets, and those wonderful festivals out here! I'm loving, giving, like to show it, and want the same. You can tell I am social, talkative, (REALLY? you ask) so if you want someone seen not heard, or don't enjoy good conversation, I'm not your girl. I love to listen and learn about you, remember details that are important, what you like/don't - that's what makes a caring relationship. I'm open-minded and like the same, can't tolerate prejudice or judgemental angry people. I'm going through a big transition with moving, career, etc.;happy every day" people, I might not fit the bill. That's my goal, but we all have good days, and bad, and I can't hide my emotions. I'm passionate about what I believe in, will support you, and hope you can be there for me too! Life isn't always easy, but it's better with someone who cares at the end of the day, loves you for who you are, accepts your faults because they feel your gifts outweigh them. It would be nice to find someone who can make my heart skip a beat whenever we meet, feel complete. I love getting to know new people, for friendship or if it works out, more. **NOTE: If you are very regimented, can't understand how someone might be a little late, It's a flaw I'm working on is all I can say **
