I'm a self-sufficient, savvy, smart woman with two fabulous grown daughters, a good job, good friends, and my own home. I don't need someone to complete me, but I'd sure like to spend time with a kind, honest, employed, trustworthy man and see where it goes. not me, but I do it anyway), yoga, fashion, modernism and modernist style/decorating, cooking, dancing, karaoke, wine, beer and tea.I am trying to go day by day, and not attach to outcomes, like all the rest of the Buddhists-in-training out there. Grieving too. I've had a pretty devastating loss recently. From it I've learned that death is actually not the worst thing. The worst thing is not living while you're alive.I’m good at: writing, teaching (my job), smiling, laughing, drawing people out, talking, listening, meeting halfway in arguments, trying or learning new things, caring deeply about certain issues and showing it, traveling, finding my way around strange places and not getting freaked out, dressing up (or down), yoga, cooking comfort foods, dancing with abandon, judging character, letting the right ones in.

    I think the nicest thing I was told by a friend recently is that i am Authentic, what you see is what you get. I am compassionate and passionate.
