I have lived my life believing that the best things in life are worth waiting for. While I still do believe this, some experiences over the past few years have made me realize that life is just too short to take for granted. He should be intelligent, caring, dependable, have a great sense of humor, value friends and family, have personal and professional goals and ambitions and be open to a meaningful relationship. A love of baseball wouldn't hurt, but it is definitely not a deal breaker. My ideal first date would be one where time flies by. What seems like minutes is actually hours. Looking up and realizing you are the last ones left in the place. It's a product of the great conversation, laughter and mutual attraction. You don't want the night to end, and you can't wait to see each other again. I've gone on first dates to a bar and not even finished one drink, and the date was amazing because of the conversation and the mutual attraction - that's what's important. You know quickly whether you want another date. A kiss goodnight and asking on the first date for a second date are always the best ways to end a first date.

**** A quick note: I am not looking for ***/ chat buddies - there is life beyond the computer - if nothing progresses beyond a few days of endless banter, say "it's been nice chatting with ya, good luck in your search", move on, tempus fugit! Life is too short and precious to waste such effort in nothing that will not progress. In fact, say that to everyone! It is only common decency.Also, when we progress to exchanging numbers, again... Not looking for endless texting... The purpose is to make a date and meet up for coffee or dinner...I understand there are plenty of other more beautiful and prettier women than I who like to tease, stroke and boost your ego and waste your time) Rant over lol *****.... wait, never mind, they all die at the end of the movie. So a bit about me: I'm just a bit shy and quiet when you first met me, yet easy-going and friendly and out-going once you've met me. I am not one to talk your ear off. Any ways, I don't have the claim stub, so it doesn't matter) I like 60's and 80's music with a bit of ABBA and Mozart thrown in. But can rock out just as good.I like to learn new things and will try almost anything just about once (maybe). So with that said, I am always learning something new about myself and the world everyday. I just recently discovered that I might have the travel bug and would eventually like visit a few places. But for now, going to Vegas for long weekends is the extent of it. And just once, i would like to do a "guy's weekend in Vegas" the whole whiskey and cigars, all night long at the craps table sort of thing. A bit about you: Someone who enjoys laughing yet knows when to be serious...likes the fine and good things in life yet can appreciate Honest Ed's style. You "give in" to go ballroom dancing one night and "make me" go to a Jay's game the next. You know what Wednesday and Saturday matinees means. You like to volunteer and help out at charity events. There are times for going out or staying in and watching that night t.v line-up. Willing to try out new stuff but also know to stick to the tried and true. And once in awhile sit back and be amazed with what crazy and whacky things civilization is up to.Someone who willing to learn new things with me and teach me things they've learned. You like to suit-up and have legend- wait for it- dary day/nites (bonus if you know what this is in reference to)and go dancing and dining, but you don't mind staying at home and watching T.V.
