I have lived my life believing that the best things in life are worth waiting for. While I still do believe this, some experiences over the past few years have made me realize that life is just too short to take for granted. So, I try to enjoy my life to the fullest while I wait for Mr. Right to come along.Adjectives used to describe me include “down to earth”, funny, fun, out-going, confident and genuine. Most people consider me to be intelligent, but I would much prefer to discuss sports or current events than something I learned in a textbook in college. I am much more a natural kind of girl, than the type that takes 2 hours to get ready for work in the morning; but I still like my manicures and do spend time shopping. Don't worry, I promise not to drag you from store to store, unless you want to go! However, during baseball season, I might ask you to join me at a Yankee game, since I usually buy a ticket plan. I’m not looking for the “perfect guy”, but the guy who is “perfect for me”. He should be intelligent, caring, dependable, have a great sense of humor, value friends and family, have personal and professional goals and ambitions and be open to a meaningful relationship. A love of baseball wouldn't hurt, but it is definitely not a deal breaker. My ideal first date would be one where time flies by. What seems like minutes is actually hours. Looking up and realizing you are the last ones left in the place. It's a product of the great conversation, laughter and mutual attraction. You don't want the night to end, and you can't wait to see each other again. I've gone on first dates to a bar and not even finished one drink, and the date was amazing because of the conversation and the mutual attraction - that's what's important. You know quickly whether you want another date. A kiss goodnight and asking on the first date for a second date are always the best ways to end a first date.

This is harder than I thought it would be. Fun, fit and funny, sound like a few of the qualities you're looking for? Thanks for stopping by. Like a lot of people on here I'm looking for a connection with someone, who knows what will happen. I want to feel the butterflies when I'm about to see you, hopefully you feel the same. I figure it's good to tell you something about who I am. I'm an energetic, driven and outgoing woman, very aware of who I am and what I'm looking for. I'm a person with a lot of "get up and go" so I hope you like being active. I love my garden and have enjoyed the summer out there. I'm also working on projects to renovate my house. There's always something to do. Camping, cycling and photography are other things that make me happy. Humour makes the difference in everything you do. Dry and witty works for me.I enjoy my work but it doesn't define me. I have two kids that I have shared custody of and they are the lights of my life but there is something missing. Maybe you will help in that area.I believe you learn a lot from a first meeting so I'd rather meet up *** going back and forth with messages. Let's start things off and see if there's a spark. If I sound interesting from this little bit, take a chance, why else are we on here? Oh and one more thing, I've put a current picture up, if you don't have one then it seems to me you don't want me to see you so don't expect me to respond. Also, I use the mobile app so sometimes it shows I'm online but really, I don't spend all my time on here. Casual meet for a drink or tea.

I am ready to begin my life again. LOL. I'm a happy person. I'm nerdy too. I like sports, sci-fi, reading, music and movies. I also play an online video game pretty regularly and love it! I have 2 kids, who are 14 and 21. I'm an open book. Any questions? Please feel free to ask. It's been a really long time since I've had a first date, but dinner and a movie is still a classic in my book!!
