Travelling and music are my two passions.-;-) I love live music, and going to concerts of all kinds. Ive been singing my whole life, and have done a lot of performing. These days, I sing with my students at school!! My most recent gig was the national anthem at our middle school graduation! I have an English bulldog who is almost ten yrs old and very important to me. So.....even if you don't have a dog, you have to love them! Lets be real. First dates can be really hard! There's chemistry, or there isn't. I prefer a first date to be somewhere that's relaxed, casual, and we can talk (and hear each other!) I thought this was funny...... "Dating rules. Lunch is an interview, drinks are an audition, coffee is cheap, and dinner is romance" - Patti Stanger

I'm young spirited, like to have fun and enjoy the good things in life. I love to travel and am not from Queens. I'd like to meet someone thats outgoing, smart, mature, handsome, and a great sense of humor. Just a great down to earth guy would be nice. No sports fanatics please! But I can deal with a little. Fingers crossed! Honesty and communication is key! More about me: I'm easygoing and and I can cook lol. Family is important to me. I have a little angel who has been my world for the past 7 years so I haven't made much time for me. I share weekends with his father so I signed up to this because someone told me you were out there. I have an open mind and can take time to meet. Life's to sweet to pass by single and if I don't try I will never know. So lets see if we have some common interest and take it from there. Stay positive and love life! Coffee or a drink.

What does that mean: "I'm Not Done?" It means that I'm still living my life. I travel for fun, and this I take quite seriously. For about the last five years I've spent at least one month out of every twelve traveling, and I am having the time of my life. I'm having a blast finding out what the world looks like outside of a television screen or a photograph. I abhor the dull, the boring, the ordinary.Mostly I travel for music. There are a few bands I really like, and for me nothing beats seeing them live. (Bonus points if you know what Red Rocks, the Ryman Auditorium, and Gentlemen of the Road Stopovers are without having to look them up.)My taste in music is pretty open. Mostly I like "organic" music: music that's played on *** require skill and discipline to play. I am not a fan of electronic music or anything wholly created on a computer or played back pre-recorded during a live show. I like some bluegrass, some folk, some rock, some metal. What matters most to me is genuineness, depth, and passion being expressed in music. I also love equine sports, especially thoroughbred racing. A day at the track is one of my favorite ways to spend my free time, but I haven't had a chance to do that in a while. I also enjoy hockey, but haven't been more than a casual follower for several years. Canine agility events are always cool to witness, and I have trained a couple of border collies (my favorite breed) in agility and flyball. Currently my pets consist of a Jardine's parrot and a Tibetan spaniel.I'm looking for someone who is fun and adventurous, someone who's not afraid of being who he is and who has a genuine appreciation for music that comes from the soul.UPDATE: Okay, so I have been getting a lot of guys messaging me asking if I am a groupie. Let me just begin by saying this is the best way not only to get no response from me, ever, but also to piss me off. Just because I'm female doesn't mean my attraction to live music is based on a desire to sleep with the band members. It IS actually possible for females to appreciate and recognize the qualities of the music itself. It really depends on the interests of my date. I'm open to suggestions, but if that includes clichés like "dinner and a movie" or "grab a cup of coffee" it might be a turn-off. These things are commonplace, and at this point I've done common to death. It's boring; I prefer anti-boring. Basically just somewhere doing something fun and engaging that lets our real personalities show.
