You are the company you keep! Someone who has some interest in the broader world. I have been known to watch and Indie ***race and then go to a museum exhibit. All of my family lives on the west coast, and I visit them twice per year. Some of my family are down to earth hard-working people, some of them are into tennis/golf and nice wine. So, I'm a mix of both! I am looking for someone to travel with, have long dinner parties where everyone is having a great time, and generally being silly. I am not a couch potato on trips -- I like to kayak, swim, and go out on the town! I love exploring, adventure and having fun with the smallest things.I am always game for a long walk in the park. If there is a ball to throw around even better!I am big on bubble baths, trying to get my cat to act like a dog, being near water, kayaking and watching surfers (it reminds me of home). My favorite place on earth is Lake Tahoe -- the water is so beautiful and once I get in the water you cannot get me out!) and Manet are some of my favorites -- I'm not an art expert, I just learned about those guys in high school English class.My goals are to become the athlete I used to be before I became a busy professional, travel to some beautiful and hot places, learn to paint, and continue to create the most creative international conference in the world through outreach and community organizing (I'm on my way with that...). I want a long-term relationship that is chill...where we talk and do active things together....with a good guy. If you can play scrabble with me all the better. My taste in music basically is anything from country to rap, classical to hip-hop, alternative to classic rock, folk, and of course jazz. Let's face it...first dates suck. Second dates are the ones to strive for. I'd like to discover the things that you like to do, or some things you find fun and interesting.     Alright I’ll just admit it, yes on OCCASION I have been known to have my blonde moments. However, I like to view that as me just being a trustworthy kind of person. A very strong value, and one that I hope I display to my daughter, is to treat people the way you want to be treated. As I'm sure everyone does, I love to laugh and hope that the person I meet has a sense of humor. I love doing things outdoors. I’ve been riding my bike to work for the last 12 yrs and will pick that over metro any day! I work out most days in our gym at work. I do prefer a guy to be at least 5'10.My family is my biggest blessing. I only wish they lived closer! But one piece is missing and that’s someone to grow old with and enjoy the second half of my life with. I would prefer to meet someone that lives close by to me. I am a single mom and if my daughter suddenly gets a play date it would be nice if you lived close by so we could get together.
