My life... I love it... Living it with a positive attitude... great energy... and I enjoy a healthy lifestyle. I try to workout everyday...fitness is a top priority... and I don't sit home eating cookies and chips... Enjoy being out and about.I'm easy to get along with..(but definitely not a pushover) and I have a strong personality. (independent woman....but don't let that scare you..:***I truly enjoy meeting new people ... So, if we meet, and we're not a "love connection" that's fine... we'll have good a time figuring it out... But I am looking for it all.... That's why I'm here, and you?I enjoy spending time with friends and family .... though my time alone is plentiful as well and I enjoy every minute of it. I work in NYC...yes, I do the crazy commute. I LOVE to travel all over this crazy world we live in (it's pretty amazing out there!) and take full advantage of my time off from work.... 3 great vacations a year with plenty of small trips in between... looking forward to breaking in my global access.I am drama free.. but I will still keep you entertained... I'm looking for an independent man who is both thoughtful and ambitious... (big heart)Life has been pretty good to me... I've been really, really lucky.... surrounding myself with good people. (seriously that's what it's all about) I enjoy nice things in life...I take good care of myself and work hard to make it all happen.You.... ideally have a little bit of an edge that makes you special, live an active healthy lifestyle and enjoy traveling. You value relationships with family and friends and you're looking for that added bonus that just pulls it all together .......... (and yes ..... you're smiling right now ;) A drink after work. Easy, right?

Alright I’ll just admit it, yes on OCCASION I have been known to have my blonde moments. However, I like to view that as me just being a trustworthy kind of person. A very strong value, and one that I hope I display to my daughter, is to treat people the way you want to be treated. As I'm sure everyone does, I love to laugh and hope that the person I meet has a sense of humor. I love doing things outdoors. I’ve been riding my bike to work for the last 12 yrs and will pick that over metro any day! I work out most days in our gym at work. Absolutely love to stay active but also love a cozy night at home in the pj’s watching a movie, reading a good book or snuggling with someone special. I'm a morning person. I’ve inherited the family gene of competitiveness. If I think I have a chance to beat you in something watch out………..it’s ON! Don’t worry I’ll tell you you did a great job in losing to me!;-) I love going on hikes with the dog and exploring. My biggest downfall…sweets! When I first meet people I am quiet and kind of on the shy side but I open up more as I get to know you. Once I do feel comfortable around you I tend to have a sarcastic sense of humor. I'm originally from NJ which mean I'm a Giants fan!! FYI - if you're a Cowboys fan hopefully you have a ton of great qualities that will make up for that mistake in your life...lol. I do prefer a guy to be at least 5'10.My family is my biggest blessing. I only wish they lived closer! But one piece is missing and that’s someone to grow old with and enjoy the second half of my life with. I would prefer to meet someone that lives close by to me. I am a single mom and if my daughter suddenly gets a play date it would be nice if you lived close by so we could get together. My faith is also important to me so if you are not a religious person, I'm probably not the girl for you. Thanks for taking the time to read this! Have a wonderful day!

What does that mean: "I'm Not Done?" It means that I'm still living my life. I travel for fun, and this I take quite seriously. For about the last five years I've spent at least one month out of every twelve traveling, and I am having the time of my life. I'm having a blast finding out what the world looks like outside of a television screen or a photograph. I abhor the dull, the boring, the ordinary.Mostly I travel for music. There are a few bands I really like, and for me nothing beats seeing them live. (Bonus points if you know what Red Rocks, the Ryman Auditorium, and Gentlemen of the Road Stopovers are without having to look them up.)My taste in music is pretty open. Mostly I like "organic" music: music that's played on *** require skill and discipline to play. I am not a fan of electronic music or anything wholly created on a computer or played back pre-recorded during a live show. I like some bluegrass, some folk, some rock, some metal. What matters most to me is genuineness, depth, and passion being expressed in music. I also love equine sports, especially thoroughbred racing. A day at the track is one of my favorite ways to spend my free time, but I haven't had a chance to do that in a while. I also enjoy hockey, but haven't been more than a casual follower for several years. Canine agility events are always cool to witness, and I have trained a couple of border collies (my favorite breed) in agility and flyball. Currently my pets consist of a Jardine's parrot and a Tibetan spaniel.I'm looking for someone who is fun and adventurous, someone who's not afraid of being who he is and who has a genuine appreciation for music that comes from the soul.UPDATE: Okay, so I have been getting a lot of guys messaging me asking if I am a groupie. Let me just begin by saying this is the best way not only to get no response from me, ever, but also to piss me off. Just because I'm female doesn't mean my attraction to live music is based on a desire to sleep with the band members. It IS actually possible for females to appreciate and recognize the qualities of the music itself. It really depends on the interests of my date. I'm open to suggestions, but if that includes clichés like "dinner and a movie" or "grab a cup of coffee" it might be a turn-off. These things are commonplace, and at this point I've done common to death. It's boring; I prefer anti-boring. Basically just somewhere doing something fun and engaging that lets our real personalities show.
