I think a first date should be somewhere that you are able to talk to one another. A movie or a concert may not be a good choice because you cant talk much during your time together. I believe honesty is needed for any relationship that is to be successful. I have tried to plant that in my students and children over the years. Im not perfect by any means but believes life is too short and one must be an open book in a relationship. I am a forgiving person and often gets hurt because of it but I know God has a plan for my life. I am more than capable to take care of myself but prefer to have someone to love and be loved in return. I like to laugh and make jokes but I think they need not be personal.
