Hello, and welcome to my profile.To begin, I'm warm, honest, a bit reserved, sensitive with a dry and quirky sense of humour. I can be both outgoing and shy, am eloquent and thoughtful and, in turn, appreciate a curious, perceptive and tolerant mind. Music is quite important and I listen to genres such as world, classical, opera and blues. I also like to read non-fiction and an occasional well-written mystery and if you read poetry to me, I will be delighted, and, of course, reciprocate.I am liberal and left-leaning but have a small investment portfolio which I aspire to nurture to tremendous wealth. Favourite dances to participate in are tango and swing. Health and fitness is significant so I go to the gym or yoga classes. I've noticed, however, that there are a number of men who are extremely active in many outdoor activities and sports, and, as I'm not, we would not be a very good fit. When I imagine the man whom I would like in my life, the broad parameters are: a good sense of humor; ability to participate in an intelligent conversation; an interest in life; compassion for other people and creatures; respect for people, including your partner and lover; spirituality and honesty. Being able to readily express emotions and being a good communicator is also important as is a playful, romantic and emotional spirit. In all fairness, I've displayed photos of myself, (sans sunglasses), have not abbreviated words (how r u) and given more than a line or two of self-description and really would appreciate the same in return.If I do not reply, it just means I felt there wasn't a mutual match and no offense is meant.

*****Please READ profile BEFORE responding...I do NOT and will NOT respond to Auto Prompts saying "so and so wants to meet you.".... So, I stress that one needs to be honest in their profile. What is the point in lying? Clearly, I am not looking for a one night fling nor paying a bar tab and driving someone home. Honesty in looks, body type...TRUTH!!! No Living with parents or roommates!! The Twenty somethings might go for that... But I am well beyond the "Peter Pan Boys" We all have luggage from life-let's see if our luggage matches!I am looking for a Outgoing, Kind, Humorous, Intelligent, Financially and Emotionally secure MAN. I am a sucker for Nice STRONG Hands, Eyes and Smile...No Nail Biters-that type of pent up anxiety just plain FREAKS ME OUT!!!!I am using one of my last dates as an example as I am still laughing that the universe was having a Jokey with me...Once I accepted the comedy of the situation and the fact that I could leave after he started quoting "Spock"...I had to be Honest...and Just spell it out...Not Going to Happen...I would like to avoid ever having to do this again. He should have just been up front and then none of this would have happened. I am told that I am funny, witty and often sarcastic...This I will never apologize for or change. If you are too serious or sensitive we will never work. I am looking for friendship/casual dating to start and we can see where things go...
