I Love Karaoke but...I've been banned in the Tri- State Area. Okay, so I'm a little tone deaf, no big deal, the only downside is I'll probably only make the worst of the worst on American Idol. A girls gotta have fun. I'm a bit old fashion, who's been- there done that with the clubs and the bars, who wants to meet a nice guy. Most of my friends are married with kids and not up to "hanging out". I've had past relationships that I can honestly say weren't terrible, just not meant to be and I take it as a learning experience. I don't want to say looking for the "one", because there's the saying Love will find you, sometimes you need to help it along. As for old fashioned I like and appreciate when a man opens the door for me especially the car door, helps with my coat off and on and pushes in my chair when I sit or pulls it out when I get up.I want a man who's going to be my best friend, lover, and my equal. Someone who wants the same things and more. I can list a whole bunch of qualities I am looking for but it comes down to who makes my knees weak, takes my breath away and is the last one I see when I go to sleep and the first one when I awake. I have everything I need, I want someone to share it with. P.S. I'm not interested in a heavy or regular drinker. I do enjoy going out for a beer or glass of wine not the whole case. I do enjoy watching the yankees at a bar or TGIF and having appetizers and a couple of drinks.I am a HUGE sports fan.....I can watch the Yankees every night and love my Giants.....Go Blue......as for hockey, not big into it but am a Rangers fan. I do alot of bike riding in the warmer weather. I play softball and used to coach kids in softball and volleyball, unfortunately the kids all grew up and the program ended. I'm a bit of an electronics geek and am totally addicted to my kindle and ipod touch. I would love to retire there one day. I have been at my job for 19 years and can retire very soon, just haven't decided yet. I work out 5 days a week.P. S. I can cook(I make a Kick ass gravy (sauce)).I've read alot of profiles and gentlemen....women would like to know your hobbies and things you are into, not as much as what your looking for. Yes, we have all had our hearts broken and yes no one wants drama. If you like sports what types and do you go to games, travel to see your favorite team or just sit at a bar and watch them on tv.I do not respond to one word ***, and please only initiate an *** intend to follow through. First & foremost, I am someone's mother, someone's sister, & someone's daughter. Please keep that in mind when you decide you're going to toy with my heart & emotions. I enjoy conversation or just comfortable silence. I'd rather sit in some dive with good company. I like outdoor activities as I'm not crazy about being cooped up. I go to the gym regularly. I like to keep active. My job keeps me in pretty good shape climbing up & down ladders & scaffolding. I swing a hammer for a living & enjoy every minute of it except when it's freezing cold outside. I have one teenaged child that lives with me & doesn't require a sitter. My schedule is routine yet flexible for the right person. I don't mind making time for someone as long as they are just as inclined to reciprocate. This is not a one way street. Communication & compromise are very important in a relationship.
