About Me

I'm recently divorced and have three children, only one still lives with me. I enjoy cooking out, going for walks, listening to music. Simple things mean the most. My favorite quote is "there are more important things in life than things" I'm looking for someone honest, aren't we all. Lol I believe the best way to start any relationship is by becoming friends first. I'm not here for a "hook up". Just depends, I enjoy going out,but just as happy staying in. Maybe coffee or a drink somewhere.

Looking for: man. In age: 40-50

I offer an open mind and an open heart. I believe respect, honesty, trust, communication, attraction and lots of laughter make relationships something we treasure, not just something we are in. They create the bonds we hold onto, not get tangled up in. I am not a perfect person, but I give my best for all things, always. I am a wiseass, dry wit, tree hugger, philanthropist, attitude of gratitude, health and nutrition geek, avid recycler, and I always bmob(bring my own bag). I am passionate about the environment and being an active participant in making the world a better place. I DIY just about everything in my home and love home construction projects. Don’t worry, I don’t need your tools, I have my own. Power and kitchen tools over shoes any day. And, yes, I am still very much a girl with heels, skirts, toolbelt and all. ;) I’m not afraid of hard work, big challenges, bugs, clogged toilets, or breaking a nail. I don’’t bother me at all. Of course, I will be busy getting in touch with my inner Rianna so, hopefully, you don’ I am generally a very active person and I love to be outside as much as I can and I am always interested in trying new things. Nights on the porch swing are a favorite too. I am always involved in fundraising events and volunteering for humanitarian, school, and environmental causes. Love, love, love music. All kinds. It is not so much what it is or who it is by, but how it makes me feel. There is nothing like the feeling of being in a song. With the right music in my iPod I can do anything. I love children in general, but my little banana heads are my favorite people in the world. We hike, bike, jog, play baseball, football, frisbee, and lots of leggo building. We frequent all the playgrounds in the area, and trek off museums and aquariums whenever possible. We do the Komen 5k for breast cancer and the 5k for Saint Jude’s together every year. If you have kids, no problem, the more the merrier. Honesty is a HUGE deal to me. Gigantic. If the truth used you like a sock puppet and you still couldn’t be honest………Stop Reading and Fish Elsewhere. If you are looking for a replacement “mommy”, are a video game junkie, stupid humor lover, bar fly or couch potato- I am not the one for you.…….we are not a match. At all. I am looking for someone who really wants to be in a family. With all the chaos, laughter, fun, love and frustration that comes with it. It's a hell of a ride, but so very worth it. If the idea of little league, school concerts, boys in trees and mud, bake sales and bouncy house birthday parties makes your skin crawl we are not a match. If you have a big, nutty family that drives you crazy, but you love dearly and never want to live without- no worries- I have one too. I am hoping to find someone who has the same level of energy, ambition, and passion that I do. Someone who has diversified intellect and interests, brainiacs welcome, I promise you won’t bore me. Someone who is fun, active, smart, outgoing, yoga loving, urban homesteading, socially aware and responsible, foodie, eco-freak, high nutrition inclined, style conscious, child friendly and financially savvy. Sports fanatic, fine. Workaholic ok. Dancing sushi lover preferred. Did you get all that, lol? Let’s build a gazebo, dig a koi pond, hike a trail, get massages, throw a killer Superbowl party. We will be fine on our own but better together. So, this is me. If it is you too, then send me an e. Let’s get this party started, lol. Best Wishes To You For Love And Happiness. Something fun, outdoors, and probably involving coffee. Maybe go wine making- I have always wanted to try it!

~We were given Two hands to hold Two legs to walk Two eyes to see Two ears to listen But why only one heart? Because the other was given to someone else For us to find~U caught her eye, but if u want to be someone special, u need to catch her heart!~They say love's around every corner, I guess I'm walking in circles!?!?!?; determined. Yeah, I'm tooting my own horn!!!:0) I've been debating on whether or not I'm gonna tell u the rest. I've decided to tell ya the ENTIRE truth b/c I don't want to get someone attached w/o him knowing it all!? U'll FULLY miss out on someone SPECIAL if u pass me by just b/c of the following~ ***Now, let me tell you about a MAJOR factor!!!:0(***On ***I was in an automobile accident. My birthday's on the 7th, so I had just turned 26 when the accident occurred. When it happened two friends and I were on our way home from a country dance club/bar. The driver was my roommate, and I must've been lying down in the back seat. She was legally intoxicated and going ***m.p.h. She lost control of the car, and we flew backwards off an embankment. I was thrown through the rear window. I sustained a major head injury and many internal ones. I was life- The scale goes from 3 to 15. I was in a coma for 5 months, so I'm a MIRACLE!!!!!! You can say that I stared death in the face and won. It's absolutely amazing I can even think! I owe EVERYTHING to God, and I'm terribly GRATEFUL!!!!! I'm now confined to a wheelchair, but I'm still alive. Believe it or not, I'm actually thankful the accident occurred because it FULLY changed my attitude. I was never a "bad" person, but I've done some unbelievable things. The accident brought me MUCH closer to God. I'm a positive person, so I'm ALWAYS looking for the silver lining. I lost A LOT because of the accident, but my vast spiritual growth was FULLY worth it. Surprisingly, my life's actually better. Sometimes God lets you go through a MAJOR catastrophe/trauma to get your attention and point you in the right direction. What I've gone through has completely turned my life around! I'm THANKFUL the accident occurred because it rescued me from the hole my life was quickly becoming. God knew this all along!!!!!:0)UPDATE AS OF ***~I have a BRAIN injury, not a spinal injury!:0) Which means, I'm not paralyzed AT ALL! That feeling sure could come in handy in the sexual department!!!!! Then, why the chair, u ask? It's b/c my brain got SOOOOOOO damaged that it's unable to keep my body balanced while simultaneously telling other muscles to walk! Therefore, my only limitations, besides not being able to walk, has to be my contracted hands due to spasticity caused by my bran injury!?!?~I'm the only one who got hurt b/c they were in the front, w/their seatbelts on, & I was lying down in the backseat w/o mine!?!? When the paramedics arrived on the scene, I was flatlining, but they brought me back! I have NO memory of the afterlife, but when I did eventually obtain full consciousness & alertness I had an undeniable belief & sense that God exists! I also knew that his LOVE 4 us is UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!? Let me try to explain where I'm coming from!?: My rehabilitation has had me focusing on myself for WAY too long, & my move from Ca to Tn have both GREATLY reduced my friendships! I went from a TOTALLY social, partier, someone w/LOTS of friends, able bodied, independent=living about 8 hrs. away from my family (in a little house w/a roommate), & it seems I could probably get almost anyone I wanted person to a TOTALLY dependent, broken bodied, sheltered, home-body, SOBER, school nerd, seemingly invisible person in a split second!?!? This is REALLY the first time I've attended school w/uninjured people since my accident, so I believe I deserve a little understanding of any sm. blunders or missteps I make!?!?;Cowboy Take me Away!" There's a couple more established singers/groups &; for a whole new genre, Shaggy!=0) ~Let me describe my dream guy. He acts as if my chair doesn't even exist, he's SMART, he has dimples, he knows how to cook, he's very compassionate and empathetic, he has dark hair, light eyes, he listens to country music, and he often dresses western. This is how I like to imagine him, but I know God has someone perfect planned for me. He knows who and when. He's writing my love *** Thinking of You comments *** http://sdrv.ms/K3bEVXIn Tn~21~ *** ....Teenage drinking *** *** *** *** & *** ***
