Thank you for taking the time to stop by and see what I've written. Please know that I am a very honest person and everything I say below is the truth. First of all, I would like to say that I am a very happy person. I have a great family, fantastic friends, a great job, my own home. I have a job that I love, and I am happy where I am in life. I am self sufficient and do not need someone to "complete" me, but I would really like to share my time with someone who I can enjoy new things, old things, laughs and so much more with. Perhaps this is you?I won't beat around the bush here, I'm looking for someone who has their "sh*t" together. I don't appreciate drama and avoid it at all costs. I don't care for the games that some people like to play. At this age, I would like to consider myself more mature and respectful of others than that and hope that you are the same. I like to be a glass half full kind of person (plus it means there is still something left in the glass to drink! LOL).People describe me as a very positive person, who is hardworking and likes to keep active. A high maintenance "princess" is NOT who I am at all, but a little attention is always appreciated for sure. I have a great professional job that I've held for 20 years and love going to work every day. It challenges me and I always like a challenge for sure.Intelligence is very attractive to me and kindness also goes a long way. Something else I'd like to find in a partner is a sense of humour, a good work ethic and basically having your "stick on the ice". I do follow some sports, so sitting watching a game of whatever is on is fun. Not every night, or all day on Sundays though.     Definitely time to update my profile. Hope you had a great summer. I have to say... I absolutely LOVE the weather we're having! I am one of those romantics who enjoys warm sunny days, but also a walk in the rain. I was glad it rained the day of the CIBC Run/Walk for the Cure. It was a great morning for the run and brunch with friends. On weekends, I'm happy to just read the paper or a book, head to the gym or go for a long walk with my dog. Once in a while, I like to hop in the car and go for a drive in or outside the city and just explore. The weekend is a time to relax and unwind. I like to keep it simple. The week is hectric and busy, the weekend shouldn't be. When it comes to music, I have CFNY on most of the time, but like Q***as well. I would gladly go to absolutely any concert out there including a heavy metal, classical, or country concert. It's tradition- outdoors, singing along with the band. It was fantastic! I consider myself to be adventurous, spontaneous, affectionate, and independent. I am a teacher and will be one until I retire someday. When I have time (2 months in the summer- very lucky!), I like to travel. I was pretty busy with a course in the summer, but made time for a few camping trips.I hope to find someone who enjoys the simple pleasures in life and has found the right balance between work and play.
