Woman. 43 years old. Zodiac sign: Sagittarius.
Looking for: man. In age: 40-50
I am not interested in speed dating or looking to pass the Guinness World record for number of dates in a month. I am interested in meeting someone special to spend some time with to get to know. I am outgoing, fun loving, and yes, I do have a few opinions. I am not offended by a dirty joke and can dish out one of my own from time to time. I am also the type of person who can make you laugh when all you want to do is yell or cry. I can make my partner feel like he is the only one that matters in a crowded room. I like to keep things light and fun, definitely not into games. I am independent but far from being a feminist. Sarcasm is a spice of life, so bring it on. Timeless books and movies that make you wonder for days about whose side you are on or "who done it" put great flavor into many of my evenings. I am looking for a trustworthy, strong, dependable, honest and just an all around great guy. According to the profiles I am reviewing, there should be no shortage! I am looking for my partner in crime. Just looking to find a friend and see where it goes. We might be friends for life, could that be so bad? GET A TYPING!!!! What’s your story? What are you greatest pet-peeves and what makes you weak in your knees from joy and happiness? To get to know someone I prefer to find somewhere a little less "date like" so we both can feel comfortable and open to get to know one another. Depending on the interests we have, maybe catch a sporting game at a local restaurant. Call me old school, but a drink never hurts to open up communication skills in the beginning so I do not find having a****ail cliche at all.

The first thing you will notice about me is my smile. I am friendly and helpful, but can seem shy at first.I am very honest and hard working, but I enjoy my leisure time. My son is the most important thing in my life and I enjoy teaching him new things and showing him the world around us. I do however want an adult companion to have intelligent conversations with. To share in the special things and the every day joys of life. I am independent and financially sound. I am neither looking to be taken care of nor do I want to take care of you. I want to built a mutual relationship between equals.I enjoy small social gatherings and intimate evenings. I enjoy playing cards, board and strategy games, and some video games (Nintendo old school Tetris anyone?) I try to go to the Zoo/Safari park, Birch Aquarium, SeaWorld, several times a year and the beach occasionally. I miss camping, but don't like to go alone. I like amusement parks and Disneyland (is that an amusement park or something all together different?). I like going to a baseball game, but I cheer for the Rockies if they come to town. And I've been seen at an airshow or two (I loved airplanes as a little girl). I am something of a geek and enjoy science fiction in TV, movies, reading, and games. I also like the procedural lab/cop shows like Bones, CSI, NCIS, although I don't have time to watch much TV lately. I can get into cult flicks like Farscape and Firefly. You would think I read a lot as a librarian, but not so much. Partly due to time and partly that I'm more into understanding information than stamping overdue books ;- I have some old comics I used to collect and a few of the fantasy series here and there. My music tastes are also varied, although a will always have one foot in the 80's. I do not like rap however. And country is iffy. I enjoy eating out and have my favorite spots. I'm not much of a cook, but you can cook, right?I am looking for someone to spend time with who might enjoy some of my interests and who is willing to share some of his interests with me. Because my son is young, I'm not as free to take trips to other countries, so I'm looking for a low key, but potentially long term, relationship. I would hope my match would have children or understand what being a parent is about (my son is with me full time). So drop me a message and lets see where it goes. It should be low pressure. I know the 'thing' now is coffee, but anywhere public where we can talk, it doesn't have to be a Starbucks.
