About Me

I've found that having balance in my life is very important. Lately things have skewed more towards my kids and work than I would have liked, but hopefully I can swing things back in the other direction soon. On the weekends we try to get out and enjoy the city. Eat lunch on a sunny patio, explore a new neighborhood, hit the park or the zoo, or grill out with friends. Weeknights are mostly spent at kid activities or at home getting things done. My daughters are five now and I love that they have more of a voice in what we do. It's nice not to have to make all the decisions, all the time.I´m open minded, honest, loyal, and generous. I've been told I have a strong personality, but I think that just means I'm not passive/aggressive. I love a good debate, a good meal, and a great glass of wine. I love to spend time at home, but try to be social as well. I´m a project manager by trade so I´m definitely organized which can come in handy. I´m a planner, but not of the crazy variety, I just like to make sure I get to the things I want to get to. I try to be more of a saver then a spender, eat more whole foods than processed, and leave work at work (although not lately, I need to work on that!) I´m looking for a partner in life. Someone who challenges me, but supports me. I make a lot of decisions throughout the day and appreciate when someone else can step in and be decisive in any situation. I want someone to plan adventures with, someone who is willing to think big to make it all happen. Someone who understands what is important, and more importantly what isn´t. Someone who is past the bar scene and ready for commitment and marriage. Between work and home my life is a little hectic and crazy, but there is definitely room for someone in it. I think a good first date allows you to really get to know the other person's personality which means conversation! A cup of coffee, a glass of wine, a beer on a patio - anywhere that you can talk and interact. Bonus if you pick the place and it allows room to do something after, just in case things are going really well.

Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience. I like that quote. A bit random. But, let's get down to business.I’m a pretty no-nonsense, straight forward lady who’s just been unlucky finding my partner in crime. When on my toes, I can have a pretty quick wit, wise-cracking, and somewhat sarcastic but playful sense of humor….always with a smile, though! I have a career and a decent head on my shoulders. I would say I’m motivated by a “want” and not a “need” for finding someone. I've definitely had my single time and am very ready to move on. More about me: easy going, down to earth, intelligent, confident, organized, clean tidy, financially responsible, drama-free, kind, good morals, strong willed, low maintenance. I love to joke around, and can be quite a smart ass. I want someone to flip it back at me! Life is far too short to take it too seriously. I live by the golden rule and expect the same in a partner. I'm looking for someone with a modern outlook on relationships; you're not looking for a woman to cook and clean for you but a partner to share life responsibilities. Bonuses include: no stalker exes, good skin, no baggage, tall genes, good health, no drugs (including prescriptions), never had a mug shot or a restraining order... :) I hope you're laughing.More about what I'm hoping to find: good morals and manners (a must), knows who he is, driven, reliable, great sense of humor, smart, likes a good conversation, outgoing, wants to have a family, kind hearted, confident but modest (nothing sexier!), and who brings out the best in me. Bonus if you: don't have more than a few tattoos, at least lean toward being somewhat clean cut, you actually kind of like tall women, think less is more in terms of makeup, and are clean and tidy (huge turn on!).FYI...I probably won't reply if your intent is an "intimate encounter" or you've ruled out having kids. I want to have a family to grow old with. Best of luck all! Creativity is always welcome; just need to be able to chat and get to know one another.

Ok-Let's get it going! I am a patio dwelling, sun seeking, wine sipping, club swinging gal- I am up to meet quality people: those that appreciate a great sunset and then can perhaps break into some clutch lyrics from Kid and Play. I know this life is an adventure-but why did everyone stop playing?! I speak plainly. I am an educated, professional-that is a tad bit sarcastic~ I am hoping to find someone genuine - that is kind and is not afraid to be held accountable nor tell the truth, even when it's difficult to do so. I need someone who enjoys a good make out and affection- and preferably one that does not snore:)I'd love someone that has a little moxy...confidence and a good personal style (but hopefully doesn't take longer than me to get ready). One that loves sports, but is not tied to ESPN a full 8 hours a day. ~ Please Note: I am a tall gal (5'10') that also wears heels... so height is a bit of a factor by genetic disposition alone. Up for just about anything-

Hi,I'm divorced with two young children. I have my children the majority of the week - and I love every moment with them. I love to read, write, cook, art and random gardening. I would definitely call myself an environmentalist. I seriously love to read - Powells is my favorite store. I prefer comedies and pointless action movies over horror and sad movies. I love my morning cup of coffee and chocolate. I love sunrises and sunset, quiet days hanging with loved ones. I am a teacher and find the job very rewarding. I basically live a rather calm life and like it that way. Someday I would like to see Europe, but am content taking care of my kids, myself and my students for the time being. I'm not crazy athletic but keep in shape by playing with my kids inside and outside. I am a fan of moderation - I love chocolate, ice cream and fried stuff - but not to excess. I've been living in the NW for a little over 10 years and have been crabbing, but not salmon fishing and would love to go! Favorite movies: The Princess Bride, Airplane!, The Usual Suspects, Shawn of the Dead, The Godfather. The last good movie I saw in the theater was The Avengers - some movies must be seen on the big screen.Favorite smells: Camp fire (but I'm not a camper really - I can put dirt in my food and sleep on a hard floor at home -thank you), cooking garlic, baking bread/cookies, vanilla, rosemary and thyme. Yes, I like good food.If you don't have at least one bookshelf filled with books I frankly don't think we will have much to say to each other. In your first message to me - please tell me your favorite book(s) and what you are reading at this moment. My music tastes range from classical to modern - but I don't care that much for rap or heavy metal. I love music from the 80s- Hall and Oats, The Police, Eurythmics, A-Ha, etc. I do sing along in the car. A simple coffee during the day just to meet and talk. No high expectations - just a chat.
