Woman. 37 years old. Zodiac sign: Cancer.
Looking for: man. In age: 34-44
I am a Special Needs Preschool teacher by day and animal rescuer by night. I love teaching and get to indulge my inner child a lot at work. I get a lot of opportunity to be creative at work. Problem solving and being resourceful are a couple of my better attributes. I believe it's better to be part of a solution rather than part of the problem. This makes me a pretty independent person and not likely to ask for help very often. I'm working on that, though. :) I also foster animals for the Humane Society. Usually I have puppies or kittens that I take care of until they are big enough to be adopted. Sometimes I have adult animals that have medical issues. In a nutshell, my homes seems like a circus sometimes!Overall I'm a person that likes to laugh and have fun a lot. I can find the humor in almost any situation, and enjoy being around people who can as well. I prefer to surround myself with people who are light on drama and don't take themselves too seriously. Although I am usually lighthearted, I'm not superficial. I think it's important for everyone to have certain causes or values that they're passionate about in life. I enjoy meeting and talking with people with different ideas from me when the conversation is mutually respectful. I am especially drawn to people who volunteer or are involved in their community in some way. As far as my interests go, I enjoy watching TV, movies, reading, etc. I usually watch a lot of reality or competition shows. It's hard for me to keep up with drama and comedy shows. A few shows I watch are: New Girl, The Soup, Amazing Race, and most of the Bravo shows. I listen to most types of music except not a lot of country. I have a Sirius radio which I absolutely love. I'm not a serious sports fan, although I'm hopeful for the Reds this year. I do love going to sporting events though. I think it helps not being too big of a sports fan, because I can enjoy it more without being stressed. :) I could go on, but don't want to spoil all the mystery. :) Feel free to ask anything else you'd like to know! For a first meeting, I prefer to meet for a drink or coffee. For an actual first date I would enjoy a variety of things: dinner, museum, sporting event, outdoor festival or fair.

I guess that it is about time I let you guys into my little world. So, here it goes...I am a single mother of 4 children, 3 boys and 1 girl. My boys are 21, 20 & 12 and my daughter is 16. I am all that they have in this world...for reasons that I have accepted and stopped trying to wrap my head around. I have spent 33 years of my life affiliated with the military in some capacity or another. Which includes the 4.5 years that I spent in the Navy.I was once married for almost 17 years which was disolved in every way imaginable as of November 6th of ***.I do have an education. I obtained an AS in Business Management in December of ***.I haven't been in a relationship since December of ***.I don't base any present or future relationship on my previous ones & I am looking and longing for happily ever after...if that even exists anymore. But...I don't want a good guy. I want a phenomenal guy. Someone that makes me feel beautiful, loves me, needs me, wants me and appreciates me.I want someone that will walk beside me. Not in front of or behind me.So, if you are up to the challenge feel free to contact me. If not please pass me by. Dinner and a movie are so over played. How about a day at the zoo?
