About Me

I am finally going to update my profile.... First and foremost I am NOT looking for a hook-up. I don't want to see pictures of your man-parts (at least not before we meet lol). I am looking to find a new best friend, soul mate, companion.... I have children which are my top priority. They live with me full-time so sometimes scheduling 'adult-time' for me can be a bit hairy, but I take care of it. My children do have a wonderful father, I'm not looking for a fill-in. I get along with my ex (which can be hard for some people) but we have agreed to always remain civil for the best interests of our children.I am looking for someone I can talk to, be myself with, and enjoys spending time with me. I consider myself a fairly well rounded person. I enjoy camping, hiking, picnics, ball games, bon- I love to cook/bake and I'm actually quite good at it. I enjoy cleaning (yes, I said cleaning) and organizing, I like most music but prefer Rock. I am not a person who looks at just the 'packaging', I want to see what's on the inside, that's whats important. I am easy going, centered, and giving (sometimes to a fault).     Hello and thanks for reading. :) I'm a clinical social worker in the mental health field and am very passionate about my job, but that's only how I spend 40 hours a week. I enjoy running, reading, movies, dining out, and am always open to new activities. I am a big Red Sox and Patriots fan and enjoy watching games both on TV and in person. I go to about 5 Sox games each year with my mom and my boss is a Pats' season ticket holder so she takes me to a couple games a year as well.I am close to my family and spend time with them when I can. My parents have been married for 38 years and are a great example to me. I have one brother who is married and has 2 adorable little girls. I am godmother to both of my nieces and I love them dearly!I love trying new foods and am one of the least picky eaters you'll meet. I especially love ethnic and spicy foods and I'm a big fan of sushi. I also like traditional Italian, steak, seafood, etc. I enjoy most types of music, though not big on rap or country.So that's me in a nutshell... basically I am just here looking for a great guy to spend time with and see where it goes from there. Hopefully it goes somewhere really, really good. ;***of the best first dates I have had involved just going to Starbucks for coffee. We spent hours talking and getting to know each other. I also find that going for drinks, lunch, or dinner works well - anything that allows for time to talk and learn about one another. In nicer weather, something active outdoors is nice too.
