After some time away from this site, I am back trying this again. What's the worst thing that can happen? I find the man of my dreams right? Right!I am a single mom of two great kids, ages 19 and 16. They are my world but I'm finding out that this empty nest thing is not all it's cracked up to be. I am a firefighter/paramedic and have been in the fire service for a little over 10yrs now. I love what I do but I have hopes of going back to school soon for nursing. I am generally a happy go lucky person. I believe laughter is the best medicine along with great family and friends. I love going out for a night on the town and think that I am overall a pretty social person. I love to be around people but I also love my quiet time at home. I am looking for someone who is intelligent, compassionate, has a sense of humor, is social but also knows how to relax. You must be self motivated, have a job and not live with your parents or do drugs. Yes it's sad that I have to put that but trust me, I've encountered it. I'm not looking for someone who likes to play games. I'm too damn old for that! I'm looking to date now, but would be pleased if things went to the next level.
