**PLEASE READ ENTIRE PROFILE**As I write this "profile" I'm wondering if this is really the place to look for a significant other. Yet here I sit typing away.I know it's cliche, but I'm starting a whole new phase in my life. Not just a new chapter, but a whole new book. I've lived and learned and fought my way to where I am now. I'm ready to find someone who will help me write the next book. If you're just looking to be a brief encounter, don't bother reading further.I am educated and professional, but lean towards the "edgy" side of life. I hate preconceived notions and misconceptions. I am independent and strong because I have had to be, but I am not a dominant woman. I like trying new things, learning new things and just experiencing life, but I do live a fairly low key life, with moments of excitement thrown in to keep things interesting. I appreciate the arts and would love to go to more theater events. Live music, museums, cultural events and art fairs are definitely an interest.I love motorcycles and fast cars. Tattoos and rock-n-roll. I have 5 tattoos. They are not random and all hold special meaning. I predict I will have more. All of them can be covered by clothing or my hair. I can enjoy most types of music, but am a rock-n-roll girl at heart. 80's rock, 90's alternative, modern rock, and alt rock are my favorites. I am a bibliophile. I love books and reading. I could browse a book store for hours or read in the library hidden in a corner all afternoon. I read just about anything that strikes me. That being said, I love good, quality TV and movies. Well written shows that surprise you each week or consistently make you laugh. I like action, suspense, drama, sci-fi/fantasy, and some romantic type movies, (but would rather wait to watch those on netflix.)If you've made it this far, something must be catching your eye. So what am I looking for in a man? I like a man who can enjoy a quick witted conversation. I tend to have my moments of sarcasm as well. Be strong and sure of yourself. Confidant but not arrogant.     HI! I've been here, before... And I'm baaaack. I guess you could call it a glutton for punishment. I'll stick with calling it optimistic.I'm still a widow, (he's still not back) been 9 years, like that. My daughters are 13 & 16.I apologize, but if we meet between now annnnd, maybe April or May, I will look like a marshmallow in 12 layers. Looking cute is not as much a priority as keeping my *** warm. I have girlfriends that go out in sleeveless & their teeth chatter all night. That's just dumb.I have an awesome sense of humor, and am also pretty sarcastic. Life is too short & I want someone to laugh with, have fun with, and be able to count on.**I have zero interest in giving birth to anymore children. That ship hasn't just sailed, it blew up & sunk, I'm not interested. Nor do I want to teach a 20 year old a thing or two. **I am a CNA, and I absolutely love caring for my residents. I work 3 days a week for now, however, I am self sufficient, own my own home and car. I don't need a man to save me, and I don't want a man that needs saving. With that said, last month I replaced my first faucet with sprayer, including shut off valves & supply lines and today I replaced a part on my dishwasher, that I figured out & ordered all by myself. Guys seem to take issue when I don't run to them like a sissy & ask for help. Unless it's automotive or electrical, odds are I'm going to figure it out, or hurt myself, trying. I think there is still a stone in my chin from the header off the ladder I took last fall cleaning out my gutters. I fixed 3 issues with my lawn mower last fall, which was promptly shot to hell this spring when I hit the patio with it.I love to fish, and have not done that nearly enough, this summer. My favorite place to be is on or near the water. Catching frogs, crayfish, or fish, or hanging out at the lake with a cold drink are what impresses me. Poetry readings, operas, fine dining & other lah-tee-dah crap does NOT. I can "clean up real good" for a company party, sure.Ideally, I want to be swept off my feet by a guy with integrity, intelligence, humor, and romance. I'm not your typical chick, by a long shot.I am looking for someone that is employed & supports themselves, does NOT live with Mommy & Daddy, does NOT do drugs, is *SINGLE* (as in NOT MARRIED), and is not just here for a booty call. Picnic by the water, fishing... you get the idea. Not the movies. First of all, you can't talk to each other, and second of all, I probably won't sit still that long. They aren't my thing.
