About Me

I am looking for dating to get to know someone and hopefully in time, a long term relationship. I am not looking to jump into anything. This to me means several "dates" to see if we have the ability to have fun together and if there is some sort of spark. These are both important to me. If not, I am happy being friends, (if that is of interest to you, and who knows maybe something will come of it) or just saying good luck to each other and part ways, if that is your preference. I know that everyone has different intentions on here. I personally, am not interested in bringing sex into the equation until I know that I feel that these two connections.So we all know it is hard to describe ourselves in a box...but a few things. Me: I am honest, loyal and straightforward, big on good communication, introspective, and very supportive...I am very open minded but sometimes get caught up in my opinion and don't want to admit I was off base, but I will do it anyway (cause what else are you going to do :))...I am very focused on fitness because it makes me feel good...I am very independent and at times also like to be taken care of....I have days when I want to go out and be active all day and other days where I just want to relax...I like having a partner to do things with, and when I am in a relationship, it is my priority second only to my daughter (b/c she is my daughter :***I will drink on occasion, but do not want to go get drinks and am not a bar person. I can be an idealist of sorts, but on this point, I am a realist and know there is not much of a way to "compromise" it.     Bottom line, IF I give you my number, it is to get to know you, not for you to use to text me because you are bored, looking for a hookup, need a phone friend or cheating on a significant other. Well for starters I've never been married and have no kids. I don't know if I will have any of my own but will open my life and heart to someone else's.I just recently graduated with a specialized diploma in Medical Billing and Coding and work in data entry for a medical billing company. I also work part time in retail and have had that job since October ***.. One thing I am not is a liar. I do not play games, I do not BS around. For a first date it would depend on who the person is and what our interests are but the dinner and a movie route is typical but sometimes it isn't the best date. Dinner is good for conversation and getting started on learning about each other but a movie isn't always the best bet. A better choice would be a comedy club or a walk in a park or the beach or even strolling through the mall. I think an ideal fun date would be to go to dinner and then possibly go for a walk or be really silly and crazy and go to a toy store and unleash that inner child after a long work week. We all have one and sometimes it just wants to come out. Another ideal fun date would be a concert of a local band at a bar or club. As long as the company is good any date can be fun. Even a day date of a hike and a picnic aftewards can be pretty amazing. Oh yeah a date at a sporting event would be awesome as well!
