Well this is the part I hate! Writing a whole bunch of mumbo-jumbo trying to sell myself to a bunch of potential readers.... It would be much more fun to meet up and you can see for yourself how truly awesome of a person I am!! =o) No, but seriously, I am a really great girl who is just sick of the bar scene so I figured I would try my luck on here and see what happens. My passions in life include--music, crossfit and staying active and traveling (when I can)! I . Music is a very significant part of my life. If I could live inside a music festival ***days a year I would. I can listen to pretty much anything, yet my heart lies with edm. (And do me a favor, don't stereotype lol) Crossfit has become an obsession of mine! No better experience and way to personal growth than to constantly challenge yourself on a daily basis and to accomplish things you've never thought you could. What can I say, I drank the Kool-Aid.. Lol I don't get very much time to travel but when I do I try and take advantage of it. There's no greater feeling than getting lost in a city you've never been to before! It's amazing!!I wouldn't say I am very picky, but by being in relationships and learning from them, I now have a better idea of what I want. Physical attraction is important and anyone who tells you different is lying...lol I want someone who knows what they want out of life. Someone who isn't afraid to step out of the box and do something they wouldn't normally find themselves doing. A person who isnt intimidated by my sarcasticness and can dish it right back to me... :) Someone who loves to spend time with their other half yet can respect the fact that I am indeed still my own person. I'm at the point in my life where I don't want to deal with drama and don't want to deal with dishonesty. Im big on being open and honest with my feelings and I don't want to play the stupid "dating" games where you feel like you have to plan out your every move and have to analyze the other persons moves. It's annoying and doesn't ever really get you anywhere. If I wanted to play games..Id buy Monopoly***=o)

I always try my best to sparkle - even though I make mistakes along the way - & keep in mind that I am fearfully & wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14)!!! But I would never make the mistake of thinking my star twinkles this brightly all on it's own! I have an amazing supporting cast!!! I wear pink - lots of it, anything that sparkles, and have a sunglasses fetish! I love to travel & I am fiercely loyal to my family and friends! Have a great sense of humor (if you can't laugh, easily at life and yourself, you'll go crazy!!!)! What I am looking for: a man who not only makes me feel special, but to whom I am special. I want someone who will be as good to me as I am to him. Faithful & truthful! Someone who makes our family and me his priority. I work too, am well educated, driven, and my career is very important to me (and about ***children/their parents each year), but it is not the most important thing in my life. Someone who is just as comfortable in a suit as he is in blue jeans. Someone who plays! Doesn't take life too seriously. Laughs loudly & often! Who likes to do things as a family, but values adult time as well. Understands that my family, crazy as they are, are important to me and will always be a big part of my life. Kid-friendly is a must! Someone open to the possibility of having children! Housebroken! I think handy is hot! I lean toward outdoorsy, "I'm just a guy," kind of guys who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. Other things I find attractive include, but are not limited to: setting a good example for children, being a gentlemen, kind, considerate, fighting fair, reading, cooking, flowers (prefer the planted/maintained/picked kind, but store bought works too), hand holding, forehead kisses, doesn't complain unnecessarily... **********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************What I am NOT looking for: Looking to hook up? I really try to be a good person, and treat others as I'd like to be treated. I am a little bit reserved at first, and try to be careful who I let into my inner circle. I prefer quality over quantity. My hobbies include running, and playing pool. I'm not such a great or devoted runner, but I definitely enjoy it several times per week. It's a difficult activity, and that's what makes it so attractive to me; it makes me feel strong. Pool is something that I picked up a few years ago, and I'm a decent player. I really enjoy the game, but find it's difficult to fit into my schedule, along with not really having any close friends who also enjoy the game. I own a home, and I enjoy taking care of the yard & have an interest in gardening. I really enjoy the outdoors as a whole, there aren't too many outdoor activities that I don't like. I am extremely devoted to my friends and family. I have two children at home, and along with that I have 5 siblings with families of their own. I really love spending time with them, some of my siblings and their spouses are my closest friends. The one thing I hear from my closest friends is that they know they can count on me, and I couldn't ask for a better response. I try to treat others as I want to be treated, and so I give what I expect. I enjoy most types of music, and the older I get, the more open to new genres I become. There is music playing most of the time in my house, in the car, pretty much all the time. I love it, and you can usually tell my mood by my selections. I think that my ideal first date would probably be some sort of food activity...I guess it makes it a little easier to get past some awkward moments if you have a roll to butter or something. I am not so much into anything really fancy, casual is more my speed these days. I like to get to know people, understand how they tick, so I would probably ask about a million questions. I am pretty comfortable with my own skin, although a bit leery of being too open at first, and I have to remember that I can't be so nosy without some reciprocity. So anyway, food. Go somewhere to eat. If it clicks, it'll click anywhere, so I guess it doesn't really matter where you end up.
