Well, I'd have to describe myself as a pretty lucky girl. I have a wonderful family who I'm very close with, a great circle of friends, & a job that I actually really enjoy. I'm a very active, positive, outgoing person. I enjoy working out, taking my dogs to the park, as well as going to almost any kind of sporting event (especially Cards games). I just bought a guitar a few weeks ago, & am enjoying teaching myself to play...not sure how much my neighbors are enjoying it, though. :) Skydiving is on my to-do list for this summer. I dream of a man who loves my mind. In my dream...i love his mind too. We share a common interest in living simply and artistic adventures. Sometimes I just don't know how i feel and need to process and sleep on things. I believe in educating myself about things before popping off with an opinion that is just a regurgitation of what i heard somewhere. I am liberal in my beliefs and feel very passionately about equal rights. i do not mind a conversation of differing opinions occasionally, but as for a lover i really prefer a like minded soul. some of my friends say i come across as gruff because i am from the north. i can be very direct...however i am very sensitive. Any kindness bestowed upon me will easily bring me to tears. There are so many things I enjoy its hard to pin them all down here. I love to read, paint, write, walk, travel, camp, learn and experience new things, but i am not someone who enjoys being on the go all the time. I enjoy my time at home and relish in my down time. Some of my favorite days start off with coffee and good conversation, getting a homemade meal in the slow cooker, and spending the day watching movies, reading, and walking my dog. I go through periods of mellow domesticity, and then suddenly the need for adventure hits and i must take a road trip or find a new experience. My goals are to live to simple life. A yurt or cabin in the woods, growing some of my own food, and enjoying the serenity of sustainable living. I dream of going off grid. I dont want to aquire things, and despise the ";. Dont get me wrong, i enjoy spending money on certain things, just not material items for the most part. I'd rather spend my money traveling(and i dont mind traveling on a budget) and enjoying new experiences that involve cultural experiences, radical artistic expression, small venue concerts, good food, massages, and any kind of pampering. I love music. When i can't find words to express how i feel...music will help me find the words. My taste in music is ecclectic: folk, alternative, rock, jazz, bluegrass. Depends on my mood. I do not drink and have no interest in the bar scene. First meeting: a cup of coffee to get a feel for whether or not we might click.First Date: Dinner somewhere quiet where we can get to know each other.
