A little about me...I'm a native Oregonian but am by no means the bike riding, outdoorsy, granola-type Oregonian. Although I love doing anything outdoors (camping, boating, snow skiing, hiking, jet skiing, laying out by the pool with a cold ***does that count?), you won't find me trying to save a tree or or biking to work to save the earth. I grew up on a lake and have never been able to get up on water skis...teach me? I'm competitive and love a good challenge. I love to get dressed up for a night out, but am just as happy having a casual barbecue with good friends. Dinner out is always nice but I'm passionate about cooking and I enjoy staying in, cooking a delicious meal, hanging out in sweats and sharing a good bottle of wine while we cuddle with a good movie.Family and friends are #1 in my life. I wouldn't be where I am today if it weren't for them. I have a huge heart and would do most anything for family and friends. I have on more than one occasion been accused of being too nice. Somehow I don't see that as a negative. My friends would describe me as sweet, funny, caring, sincere, outgoing. Oh...one more thing...I can be a bit goofy at times! I am a mom of two amazing teenage boys, they are the light of my life. Now that they are older, I get to focus a little more on me. I have a successful career, amazing friends and family, and a full life. The only missing component is true love...someone to share life with and someone who will care for me as much as I care for them. Laughter, honesty, communication, and being real is what's most important to me when meeting new friends. I love to be silly and play around (of course with some sarcasm and banter thrown in), but also enjoy intellectual random talks about nothing and everything. I'm not a serial dater, and want to get to know you a little before we meet. Our lives are busy, and I think it's important we have some common interests, so we don't waste each others time. My goal in life is to be happy, each and every day. Spending time with my family and friends, consuming delicious food and drinks, and playing in the sun makes me happiest. Whether it's beer or wine tasting, playing at the beach or in the water, curling up on the couch to read or watch a good movie, or going out and being adventurous, I am up for it.
