When was the last time you did something for the first time? I believe that great relationships are built on honesty, integrity and just being yourself. There also has to be that "feeling"...you know the one...I’m super sporty and always up for trying something new. I’ve done Muay Thai in Thailand and mountain biked down Whistler. I’m fit, but not hard core - I can be sexy in a little black dress or a pair of jeans and a hoodie. Growing up, I climbed trees and loved riding my gold banana seat bike around the neighbourhood. It had a bell, but not a basket...baskets weren't cool. I still love peanut butter and jam sandwiches on white bread, and it's true...sandwiches always taste better when someone else makes them. I enjoy a fine red wine, a good joke and a comfy bed. I’m very big on family time! I love my family and my friends and I spend time with them regularly. My furry companion is a golden retriever who loves the lake and is always looking for free Timbits from the drive thru! I’m looking for someone who is honest, respectful, educated, funny, fit, has a good heart and is a great kisser! There needs to be a real connection…the kind of relationship where there’s passion, respect, support and laughter. Hi. I'm a small town girl who's moved back to the country from the big city. However, I still like many 'big city' pursuits, and yes, I do miss the subway but definitely not the noise or the traffic. There's a comfort in the space and the freshness of the air up here that I didn't realize I missed until I was back. However, I am as comfortable with the city as with the country. I'm very versatile. I like heels or cowboy boots as much as birks and I like to dress it up as much as dress it down. I enjoy live theatre, the arts, photography, and all sorts of music - from country to blues to *** ACDC to classical. I prefer to cook or be cooked for, than go out to eat.I'm into nature, in small but significant ways (to me***like working all summer to build a butterfly and bee haven in the backyard, composting, rescuing turtles and snakes off roadways, etc. I really do enjoy my job and my colleagues and I like to joke around and have fun. I used to teach and my academic interests include *** and teacher development, essay-text literacy, and accessibility in the post-secondary environment. Now I use all of that soft skills stuff to work one-on-one with the public. I have travelled extensively in Africa, UK, New Zealand, Australia, some of Europe, and am just starting to explore Central and South America. I don't have cable TV. If you like to sit around and be a couch potato, I'm definitely not your type. Relax yes, veg out, no.I seek an emotionally mature man with excellent communication skills. I value a guy who is someone who talks about stuff that bothers you when it bothers you with the person who bothers you and don't just bottle it up.
