I'm at a point in my life where I'd like to have somebody to share my life with, and I'm ok by myself as well. Sharing my life with another isn't a need, it's a want to. I believe communication is one of the most important things in a relationship.I love to laugh and to make others laugh - I have a sense of humor and love to tease people and have fun.I like all sports - watching and participating - and have been an athlete my whole life.I believe you have to get to know somebody before you can make a committment, but there is also such a thing as chemistry that happens too....and that can be exciting and fun! I have two children that live with me and they are the best Gifts that God could have given me. My children are getting older now and I have more free time for myself. I would love to find a guy who is very outgoing, family Man, and just a happy person who loves life. The glass is half full kind of girl. Always looking on the bright side. When I have free time, if I'm not meeting up with friends then I've been known to enjoy hot tea in the evenings with either a good book or good movie to accompany me. I'm a sucker for romantic comedies and Indie films. I love seafood, sushi, and pizza. Not necessarily in that order. I prefer reading non-fiction mostly. I have a deep love for all the arts so if what we're doing involves something artsy you are pretty much guaranteed a happy girl as your date. Yes my pictures are recent (from ***and most of you always comment on how young I look. So THANK YOU! Just lucky to look a little younger than I am I guess ;-)I am a full time single mom to a sweet 7 year old. She’s an incredible little girl and will always come first. She does have a set number of weekends with her father so that is the time when I can meet new people. I will not introduce anyone to her until we have made a real connection and the relationship has progressed to a deeper level. 7 years old is just too young to understand “dating” in my opinion. I’m not flexible on this so if it’s something you can’t understand, please pass me by. In addition to owning/running my photography business I also teach a photo class once a month, and volunteer for a non-profit organization three or so days a month for a couple of years now. However I've started a new chapter and am now focused on a second degree. This doesn't mean I have put down the camera(s). What else... So just about anything outdoors. I am also taking ballet again, shh... Don't tell anyone or they'll ask me to do a pirouette for them ;-) I love all kinds of music and all kinds of places to see live bands. I love weekend getaways and try to travel somewhere about every 6 to 8 weeks. And YES, I have my passport! The most important quality for me in another is honesty. It’s not about not telling lies. I love horses, two-stepping, race cars, live music, and honest/good people. I love children and work with them every day in my job. I do desire to further my education and career when my own children get older. Knowledge is power and I am always trying to learn something new. I love books of all types and most music. Outdoors is my peace; love to run and stay active, ride bikes, walk my dog, go camping, and play with my kids. I am a huge college sports fan- Hook 'Em Horns! And especially during football season, if I'm not watching, I'm DVRing the games. I love to see new things and travel. But I also love just to stay home and bake, work on a project or watch a movie. I do try to volunteer my time, and am an active Christian. I was a military brat, and a military wife for 16 years and I am very respectful of the people in the Armed Services. I have seen a lot and done even more. I have had a blessed life and am looking forward to the new chapter. Dinner in a place that isn't too loud, no shouting to be heard. I think it is important to be able to talk to each other. Dinner is a necessary need anyway, so there is no pressure. After that, its all up to chemistry and interests. I do like creativity though, the places off the beaten path; the not so typical date ideas.
