Woman. 37 years old. Zodiac sign: Libra.
Looking for: man. In age: 34-44
I like to do many things in my spare time like taking walks, hiking, relaxing at a camp, and going out to dinner/movies. I like all music, but I do not listen to the really heavy stuff. I am looking to meet someone who is stable, mentally and financially, as I am both. Also, I am neither looking for someone to take care of me, nor am I looking to take care of someone else. I just want to find a man that is kind, honest, has a sense of humor, and likes to enjoy life. I am not looking for someone to complete me, but to compliment me. Lastly, not to be fussy, but I am quite tall for a woman and I like for a man to look down into my eyes not my chest. ;)If you are interested say "hi".

I grew up in a small-ish town in the 80's and did all the small town things there were to do. I love my "hair bands" - But I have many other musical tastes - which you could ask me about if you're curious.Did you see my White Sox picture? Yes, I'm a fan. However, I am nice enough to keep you company if you want to watch a Cubs game at home or at a bar, but I don't like going to Wrigley. Feel free to ask me why. I enjoy Bears games and sometimes a good Bulls game too. Do you play euchre or rummy? I do!I do all the usual stuff too. I exercise, eat meat and potatoes and some healthy stuff. I enjoy being in my jeans and being low-key, but equally enjoy getting all dressed up for a night out - dinner, dancing or a classical concert or performance art of some kind. As a midwesterner I make sure to take advantage of the great outdoors during good weather. Who doesn't like a good movie now and then too, especially in the winter? Having some travel plans to look forward to is also a good cure for the the doldrums of routines. I have a lot of interests and am curious about many things, but you'll have to get to know me to find out what they are.I tend to like people who are interested in and involved in the world around them. That means knowing what is going on in the world and wanting to make the world a better place, even if a small way. I believe you don't have to have a degree to be smart. I have one, but only because I decided to become a teacher and the state requires it. I worked for a long time without a degree and was very successful. I also know people who are "degreed" and who can't think there way out of a box.I'm looking for a great man, who has some things in common with me, is intelligent and successful and wants to get to know someone gradually and respectfully. Someone to have great conversations with, smile and laugh and occassionally have a good-spirited debate. Someone to be goofy with me, show me new things, try new things and enjoy the beauty of life. Someone who has goals and wants to eventually share his life with a best friend and partner.Could that be you? For a first date, I would prefer to do an activity like bowling or playing pool or darts which I think is more fun & gets you past the awkward conversation moments. I am rather shy at first, so it's more fun to have something to banter about. First dates are always awkward. I think it takes at least 3 or 4 dates to really see if you like someone. (Unless of course the first date is a really rude experience.)

Looking for: man. In age: 36-46
I love horses, two-stepping, race cars, live music, and honest/good people. I love children and work with them every day in my job. I do desire to further my education and career when my own children get older. Knowledge is power and I am always trying to learn something new. I love books of all types and most music. Outdoors is my peace; love to run and stay active, ride bikes, walk my dog, go camping, and play with my kids. I am a huge college sports fan- Hook 'Em Horns! And especially during football season, if I'm not watching, I'm DVRing the games. I love to see new things and travel. But I also love just to stay home and bake, work on a project or watch a movie. I do try to volunteer my time, and am an active Christian. I was a military brat, and a military wife for 16 years and I am very respectful of the people in the Armed Services. I have seen a lot and done even more. I have had a blessed life and am looking forward to the new chapter. Dinner in a place that isn't too loud, no shouting to be heard. I think it is important to be able to talk to each other. Dinner is a necessary need anyway, so there is no pressure. After that, its all up to chemistry and interests. I do like creativity though, the places off the beaten path; the not so typical date ideas.
