I liked sword fish, but thought clownfish was likely more apropos, sadly. Maybe I should have picked sunfish, or octopus? hmm possibly bad connotations. I like poetry readings, singing karaoke, batting cages, photography, fishing, kayaking(I'm an amateur), going to museums and plays, and both beer and wine. I read, constantly. I write, not as consistently as I want, but I will finish my novel eventually. I work at a college. I want to travel abroad. I want to learn swing dance. I want to get published. I listen to all kinds of music (except techno). My favorites are usually upbeat and singable, but the one song I could listen to forever is Rhapsody in Blue. My favorite poem is Xanadu. My favorite book is whatever I'm working on (reading or writing) at the time (unless I'm reading one of my cheesy romance novels in which case I may fall back on something that sounds more intellectual). *I'm attracted to high energy, humor and intellect. If you describe yourself as laid back and are, we're probably not a good match. If you describe yourself as laid back, but actually you get excited about stuff, we'll have a better shot. Mini-golf, MIA, MoA amusement park, batting cages, skate park. Skate park is my current favorite notion. I won't do any more coffee dates. They feel like an interview and I'm a perfectionist/idealist. Better to have fun and stir up the adrenaline when deciding if the other person is attractive and interesting.

    I'm a pretty positive, sweet, upbeat type of person...more the girl nextdoor type. I'm honest, sincere and a mother of two great kids who I am very involved with. I am pretty laid back, low maintenance and low drama. I enjoy a variety of outdoor activities and am up to try new things. I also enjoy laying low and staying in for the evening from time to time.I have meet some really nice guys, but no great connection yet. I'm in no rush - plain and simple. Life is good, but it could always get better with the addition of just the right person.So I keep hearing that my photos don't do me justice, guess I'm just not that photogenic...oh well!I truly have no desire to have more children myself, but I love kids so if you already have kids fabulous...just don't think you'll change my mind on wanting more.And Most Importantly, if you are not done with or not truly over your baggage, don't waste my time.I won't respond without a pic. We all have different things we are attracted to, so I also like when there are pics without sun glasses. (I'm an eyes girl). I also don't see the sense in purposefully taking shirtless (or less) photos. I would love to meet someone who is not totally straight-laced or on the other end of the spectrum. I prefer guys who are a good mix in the middle. Someone who can lean a little in either direction depending on the situation and/or mood. If I'm not responding, it could simply be that I'm seeing something that is making me feel it might not be the best connection. I do wish you all the best of luck in your search for that special someone. Coffee or a beverage of sorts I feel is the best choice for a first face to face meeting.

    I am currently a Nursing student. I'm not big on meeting people out at the bars as I'm "over it", although I do enjoy getting out and being social on occasion. I'm a landlord of a duplex on 2.5 acres which I live in with my daughter, 2 cats, gardens, and a few chickens. I love any activities outdoors!......(possible future bow hunting, need some practice using my bow without *** elbow! OUCH!) :)
