I believe that a good relationship is built on a great friendship. So, I am here to make friends and see where it goes from there. I am a single mom to three great kids, I have been divorced from their father for three years now. I would rather turn up the music and dance around while cleaning my house, than sit on my ass watching tv. I have morals and old fashion values, I have taught my kids to treat others how you want to be treated. I am not materialistic in any way, if you are, we won't get long very well. I am far from superficial, you may have a handsome face, but it means nothing if you have an ugly heart. I am at the point in my life where I'm to old to deal with lies, drama, and meanless relationships. I want a partner that is open, honest and trustworthy, without trust there is nothing. I feel there is no reason for cheating in a relationship, if you aren't happy tell your partner and move on with or without them. I'm not fond of the saying "real men don't cry" or "men aren't supposed to show emotion" give me a break, we don't live in the 50's anymore. Don't get me wrong, I'm not asking for a man that cries at every Hallmark commercial, just someone that is secure enough to express their feelings. I don't feel you should live in your past, but to learn from it. If you have something so bad in your past that you aren't willing to share it with your partner, and you feel it should stay buried in the past, you shouldn't be dating because everything does come back to bite you in the ass someday. I am an open book, there is nothing in my life that I am ashamed of or regret and I am looking for someone that feels the same way.
