I really don't know why there is such a stigma associated with online dating. Lifestyles today are busy and fast paced. Sometimes it's just difficult to get out there and meet people. What's important is the quality and integrity of the people you meet, not where you met them. So, with that being said.........for god's sake guys, show a lady some respect!!! I am a single mom to three great kids, I have been divorced from their father for three years now. I feel there is no reason for cheating in a relationship, if you aren't happy tell your partner and move on with or without them. I'm not fond of the saying "real men don't cry" or "men aren't supposed to show emotion" give me a break, we don't live in the 50's anymore. I don't feel you should live in your past, but to learn from it. If you have something so bad in your past that you aren't willing to share it with your partner, and you feel it should stay buried in the past, you shouldn't be dating because everything does come back to bite you in the ass someday. I am an open book, there is nothing in my life that I am ashamed of or regret and I am looking for someone that feels the same way.
