Helllloooo!!! This whole dating thing can be whirlwind with some great highs and on occassion a couple of lows. But in the grande scheme of this crazy life its all worth it. To meet people and become a better person for meeting them is an incredible experience. Its the people who have touched my life and the experiences I have had that make me more sure of what Im looking for and what I hope to find! My friends are probably the best judge of who I am, but I like to think I am a laid back girl who is generous, thoughtful and a really very caring person who looks for the same in the people who surround me. Im optimistic and really try to see the good in everyone and everything. Many times in my life I have been in situations where I feel as though I care so much my heart aches. I love to laugh (who doesn't) but my favorite kind of laugh makes your side hurt and tears run down your face! I have a goofy cornball-ish sense of humor--I believe we all have that kid inside who makes life more interesting AND funny. I love to watch sports (seriously I do)...baseball, football, and hockey fan here…Go Caps! Red is my favorite color; I love board games--YAY for cranium! My all time favorite singer is Nat King Cole--old school but I can listen to his albums over and over and over again. My favorite band is U2--and the last concert was amazing! I love going to watch live music too...There is nothing like a cold beer on a hot summer day; hot dogs are best eaten in baseball stadiums; and halloween is still and always will be a FUN holiday. Im looking for someone interested in dating hoping to find a serious relationship. I want him to not be afraid of honesty and to believe that communicating even the hardest things only makes a relationship stronger. I want him to be excited and sitting on the edge of his seat to find that best and most important person in his life (me of course!). I want him to be heartfelt in believing that family and friends are what its all about--kinda like the vanilla ice cream on the apple pie! I want him to look forward to trying new things but comfortable enough with the old to know fun will be had no matter what. I want him to feel confident and secure to laugh at himself and with the people around him (and really, Im totallyy ok with laughing at others as appropriate…ha!). I have a bit of a sarcastic streak--and I hope he can take a dose of sarcasm and not be afraid to dish it out too. But most of all I hope to find that guy who will be with me until old and gray when the highlight of the day is to go to the 4 o'clock blue plate special dinner at the local diner--we shuffle in and shuffle out taking care of each other the entire time!     Two of my favorite things are music and hockey. I am a music addict. I listen and sing constantly. Love to see live shows, too. My two favorites are Shinedown and Pop Evil......but I pretty much like any hard rock/rock/metal band. Ice hockey is a big interest as well - love the NY Rangers. I have been known to rock out some guitar hero and rock band when I get the chance. I love movies, but rarely go to the theater. Roller coasters, museums, planetariums, live theater, and stand up comedy rock my world, too. I've done Universal (still have a year pass) and Busch Gardens a lot in the past few years, and would really like to check out some of the other parks around here.I'm not a big fan of the great outdoors. I will do select outdoor activities contained within the relative vicinity of civilization, but if your idea of a good day is a hike in the woods, count me out. Horses scare me and bugs gross me out, too. I like recreational bike riding, but I haven't done it in many years so I'm a bit shaky, and by shaky, I mean it's pretty certain I'm gonna eat pavement at some point during a ride. Camping is not an option.- I watch most of my TV on DVD/Hulu/Netflix (love my Roku), so I'm somewhat limited, but outside of the aforementioned shows, in general I enjoy home/garden improvement, cooking, documentaries, and science type shows.;, I'm 5'8.5" but, like most men, I've rounded the inches up.I'm not a big fan of horror movies, but I did watch "Jesus Camp" and that was downright terrifying.
