About Me

I'm blunt to a fault, sincere as can be, snarky at times, sarcastic for fun and tough as nails.I love Cheesy American White Bread if you get the drift, short walks in the sand and blasting Oldies. SORRY I don't like Dark or Milk Chocolate! Only Vanilla Please! & only Cheesy Bread..no Spicy!I'm always up for dancing, you just have to try & keep up ;)I'm like sour patch kids candy, at first I'm sour ...but then if Iet you stick around you'll see the sweet side.I try to keep an open mind to trying new things, like a good adrenaline rush, like sports, scary movies and creating food & stuff with my hands. Please leave me a message..since this app is making my phone have a seizure ;)

**Please note: if your profile heading says something like "Looking For A Good Time" or "Looking For Some Fun On The Side", please don't waste your time or mine by contacting me. I have one son who is 8 and I've dedicated myself wholly for those last 8+ years. Now that he is getting just a bit older, I would like to start dating and see who's out there. I'm hoping to avoid going on a million first dates so let's see what happens. Oh, and although I would think I wouldn't have to state the obvious, if you live in another state or more than about an hour from where I'm located, it doesn't make sense to contact me. People have told me on here that "something good might be worth trying" and "You never know" and all those other inspirational quotes regarding distance. But I'm a realist AND a single mother who doesn't have much free time and I can't waste it just traveling to see you or vice versa. Anything that doesn't feel forced or awkward.

Im 31 I am looking for someone fun, I don't like the real serious type, I'm really laid back myself. A good sense of humor is a must. I like tattoos I have some myself. I'm kinda boring but with the right person I can be very adventurous.

"Life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forward". Random facts in no particular order:I am extremely close to my family. Losing your only sibling can really put the meaning of life into perspective. I live life every day and looking for someone that understands their purpose. My father has traveled to 66 countries that he can tell me about, I want to see more (not a competitive family or anything!) I need someone to help me put those pins in the map! I don’t buy a mountain bike, I buy a frame and all the components. I watch YouTube videos and read message boards to learn how to build it. My “keeping up with the Joneses “ days are over. I lived that life in the DC area years ago. I don’t need or want a big house or the fancy furnishings. It’s not what’s important. I much prefer the simpler life now. But I would be lying if I didn’t mention my weakness for the best sporting goods equipment and gear, it could save my life ya know. :)I’ve had my dream job and I’ve chased the money, but I gave it all up once I realized that time and freedom was what I really wanted. I have that now and couldn’t be happier.I don’t think like most people, I’m an entrepreneur. My brain doesn’t stop at night like most people. ***, I’m always dreaming up the next idea or business. I research. I don’t sit around and watch TV.I’m an organizer. Always organizing the next camping trip or kayaking expedition or vacation.I don't read much, but frequently pull A Year of Adventures by Lonely Planet and Ultimate Adventures by Rough Guides off the shelf. Hiking the AT is on my bucket list and looking for someone who may be up for the challenge one day.I’m not right in the head. After competing 7 hours in a race, in the rain, in 35 degree weather, being lost in a swamp for 30 minutes, I finish and say I want to do it again. Well I did, 2 weeks later, at least it was 50 degrees then.
