I am a preschool teacher and a graduate student...part time in the evenings. Kids are my passion and those children with special needs have a special place in my heart. I think enjoying what you do is an important thing to living a happy life. I think education is also something that is very important. I have a wonderful family that is very close knit (lots of extended family thanks to twins running in the family on one side) and an awesome cat whom is my fur-baby. I do attend a Presbyterian church once or twice a month (usually help in the nursery). I love watching TV to relax (Bones, Suits, Elementary, HGTV). I try to incorporate music into most everything I do and the kiddos love it. I like flea markets, goodwill, antiques and farmers markets. currently loving Avocado. I love being outside when it's warm, but suntan lotion is a must, as i don't or can't tan?! If I had more time I would do a lot more volunteering in animal shelters and/or groups for little kids/hospitals. I LOVE to travel and being a teacher helps that passion (time off wise at least, lol)Sports teams that I like/follow.;Bones" just ask, i'm a very open person. Somewhere we can chat. Get to know each other and laugh. Food is always a good option for me. I'm usually up for just about anything fun and exciting as well as just hanging out somewhere. No rock climbing. It was NOT a fun date.

After living and working in NYC for a few years, I realized that while NY will always hold a special place in my heart, I prefer being back in CT. I've worked for regional theatre, a touring children's theatre company and even spent time working on a few off- Now I work for a local event planning company. I enjoy going to things like air shows, classic car shows, music festivals, fairs, the beach, hikes, wineries and listening to bands at Irish pubs. I've recently been running more 5k's and am always looking for ways to stay active.Three other important things about me are:-I'm proud of my Irish/English heritage and love mashed potatoes.-I can sit and watch The West Wing for hours.-My black lab is an extension of myself. If you can't hang with him, you can't hang with me. :)I've never been good at meeting people at a club or bar since I can be shy and introverted. But I have a big heart and am looking to have a meaningful relationship with someone special. I do enjoy going out and having fun, but I'm also content with a quiet night at home. As long as I am in the company of someone I care about, I'm happy.
