Where to begin? I’ll just jump right in. ?Physical activity is one of the major passions in my life. I love how alive it makes me feel and I’m restless unless I’m challenging myself. Recently I’ve started getting into running and want to train for 10Ks and Warrior Dashes in the spring; these kinds of races intimidate me and therefore need to get done. ;)It’s important to me that my man share my passion for Moving Around. This doesn’t mean you have to be a distance runner or a fitness model (believe me, no one would mistake me for either!) but it does mean you have to love the thrill of getting outside, improving your health, and testing your limits. Active people sleep better, savor their food more, and are generally calmer, more confident, more disciplined, and more optimistic. Bonus if you are also a bit intellectual and like to learn and nerd about this type of thing… or anything, really. These traits are all awesome. Sedentary boring folks need not apply. That being said – and this is important – I’m not looking for someone with zero time to date people, either. You have to be capable of balance and willing to flex your schedule when I flex mine. I’m unusually busy (on top of work and fitness I have two Etsy shops and sometimes photograph weddings on the side) and I do have a social life, but I’m ready and willing to carve out time for the right individual for me. I need a match who’s of a similar mindset, as communication, affection, and at least semi-regular face time are important to me now. Let’s DO things together. Let’s rock climb, go hiking, take a cooking class, go for a stroll with a coffee, hang out and talk. When it’s cold out we can bake up some brownies (gluten-free, sorry… though that means they’re more fudgy! ?) and snuggle up with a movie. Etc.The point is that I’m seeking a relationship (not ***, but that is the end goal) where we are both independent and active, but find ways to enjoy life together anyway. I’m free-spirited but intensely loyal and notoriously sweet-hearted among my friends… so do not abuse that. Ain't nobody got time for man-sluts and fools. A few more random things: I love to travel and have lived in both Europe and Japan. ;)I gravitate toward people who are intelligent, friendly, open-minded, and able to keep smiling even under stress. I am not Christian – and not sorry – and not a country girl either, but I am very outdoorsy and love getting out on adventures. How about you? Are you someone I should know? The classic meet-'n'-talk at a coffeeshop or restaurant's always nice, or talking while taking a long walk. However, since I'm highly selective about my meetville responses you may also get my attention with a fun date -- an activity or something outside.
