About Me

I am me and I am real. I'm never too sure what to put here until I've read other people's profiles then I'm like, Oh yeah! I like that too. So here are some basics. I've gone to and graduated college, have my own car and have always had a full time job. The place to live is where I've slowed down. I have always lived with my grandparents. (Ok not always, there was college and my own place for 5 years after college) They are two of the most amazing people I've ever had in my life and they've taught me the foundation of life. Yes I would like to live on my own again and plan to do so, but I appreciate being close to them as they age so I can give back to them what they have given me- love and care. I've learned that a relationship is something that is worked by two people who love each other and refuse to give up when things get tough. I'm that kind of woman. I hate giving up on things just because it's difficult. I aim to please and stop at nothing to make people happy. I love to laugh. I can be hilarious at times, but serious when necessary. I'm an outdoorsy kind of person. I really like camping, the water and nature. The Adirondacks are my favorite. I'm not into the bar scene anymore but sometimes I get the urge to go out and dance with my girls, no this does not mean twerking. I'd prefer campfire and friends over the bar any day though. And watching Ghost Adventures on a Friday night. I'm not really into watching sports, but I'm not opposed to those who do. Perhaps someday I'll join you! I have been to a football game so I guess that's a start :)As far as what I'm looking for... I don't know. If a good friend is what I find before I get tired of this site, I'll still consider this time well spent. I'm not judgmental and not too picky. I'd like to find someone that has similar interests and who has a general idea of what they'd like to accomplish if not already on the path to doing so. Education is a must. I love good conversation. I'd love to find someone to show me what all these love songs are about. One thing I'd like to make clear- If you're looking to hook up with some random ass stranger and think I'm falling for it, I'm NOT, so please move on.I hope I haven't lost your attention by now.     Well well! Thanks for scrolling down! Lol A little bit about me! I finished up university a few years back, worked for a while and realized it was quite difficult to find any good job in my field. So, I find myself back in school now taking a program I am loving and hoping takes me into a great career! When in not in school I'm working, which can keep me busy some weeks but when I have some downtime I make sure I enjoy it!! :)I love to travel and am hoping to eventually be able to do more of it - a road trip for a few days exploring new things and escaping from life for a bit is even nice if you can't get too far away. On my bucket list is to eventually visit every state in the u.s.I love music and I’ll listen to pretty much anything. I have too many favourites to list. I really like indie pop/rock, alternative, and I’ll admit, top 40 still has a place in my heart ...it’s too catchy not to.lol I’ve realized I can get addicted to television shows quite easily – as long as I watch them from the very first episode. It’s been a habit since I was in university to just have something playing in the background while I do work, so that’s how that started. Right now I am completely obsessed with Breaking Bad! When it comes to movies, I’d much rather watch something I’ve seen already and love.I'm looking to meet someone who is interested in spending some time getting to know someone and seeing where things go. :) Send me a message!
