I'm really no one thing. I'm a geek, an intellectual, a reader, a mathematician, a girly-girl, a gamer... I am both outgoing and shy. I'm an independent woman who is afraid of spiders. I'm an activist who you can bring home to meet your mom. I hold myself and others to a very high standard of behavior. I am very easy-going, but I don't tolerate disrespect. I love to write. I have a blog, where I write a lot of my opinions on life, dating, and feminism. Don't worry, I don't write about people I am dating. Oh yea, I'm a feminist. Which means I believe in equal rights for all men, women, races, sexual orientation, and ability. I am very passionate about politics and current events. I like to get involved in the democratic process. Otherwise, I am extremely caring, loyal, compassionate and kind woman. I have a very snarky sense of humor, and love to laugh and make others laugh. I am game for almost anything, within reason. Sidenote: I am currently not very outdoorsy... but I would like to meet someone who would be willing to introduce me to outdoor activities, slowly.If you can't formulate a message to me longer than "Hi. What's up?", then you are not going to get a response. The best first dates are low key. I prefer meeting for a coffee. That way there are no time restrictions on the date. If things go well, we can sit and chat for an hour or two. Otherwise, we can finish our respective drinks and go, without the need to try to make polite conversation across a restaurant table for the duration of a whole meal.
