I love being outside for any reason. I\'m always looking for new adventures and challenges. Staying fit and healthy is a huge part of my life style. I do like to go out and party but would rather a chill night around a camp fire with good friends. I\'m looking to meet some like minded, fun people.

Here to find a great guy/ best friend. I am a hard working woman that has a goals and morals. I am funny and like to make people laugh w/ my sarcasm. I like the outdoors and I am not afraid to get my hands dirty if need be. I like to surround myself with great family and friends and do not welcome any type of drama. I am working towards my bachelors in human services with a minor in law enforcement. I work full time with an amazing group of people. It's hard to meet someone working 2nd shift and also with my crazy schedule. I am willing to make it work for the right person. Trust and honesty are key in a relationship. I tend to say what's on my mind I guess I like to keep it real for the most part. I'm a huge music junkie, I like all types and Karaoke is my thing. Also really into sushi and any type of seafood. The portugese side of me makes me a all right cook so I tend to hang in the kitchen making some sort of meal.I live with my cat slob and am working on buying a house within the next year. I am looking for a guy that has a heart. Someone that has goals and understands my job and everything that comes with it. Someone that is trustworthy and honest and can keep up with me.Chivalry??? Hey worth a shot, right?Oh and if you have a criminal history or are a creeper don't waste your time.. First dates are important. Somewhere interesting and not the typical movies, you want to really know a person so anywhere you can sit down and talk or walk around.

A little about me: I am outgoing, funny, a great listener and willing to try just about anything once. I have a three year old and he is my world. I work a lot to provide for him, so a lot of my free time is spent doing kid friendly activities, and acting like a goof. I'm not looking for a father for him; he has a father. We try to keep things civil and have become friends over time. This has to be something that you're willing to be okay with because it has taken a lot of time and effort for this to happen so that we can co-parent our son with the least amount of tension possible.I have never met a stranger. I enjoy learning-I'm a knowledge sponge! I am known for my sarcasm, and its gotten me into trouble a few times with those that didn't really 'get it'. Also, I can have a pretty dark sense of humor, but I believe that comes from working in direct patient care. Hope you can keep up!I currently work in a hospital as a nurses aide and am pursuing a nursing degree. I'm lucky enough to have found a job that I absolutely love and great people to work with. I love to laugh, and if you can make me laugh, even better. I'm usually the one to make folks laugh, so its nice to change pace every now and then.I usually won't be the first to send a message, but I normally always respond to them. I'm all about making new friends. :)I'm a bit of a grammar nazi when it comes to using the right tenses of words, so I'm close to developing a twitch when I see words used incorrectly. That being said, any message that I receive that has letters or numbers in place of words will be immediately deleted. If you're too lazy to write out a full word, I guess I'll be too lazy to respond. That is a huge pet peeve. Of mine. I use my phone for everything and I still write full words, even in texts. Sadly, on this site, its probably thought that I keep my standards too high. Please don't ask me 'what do you like to do for fun?' That question is seriously over used and frankly, its a huge turn off for me-I'm not sure why, exactly.I'm an avid karaoke fan, and that's pretty much my 'go to' when I have a free night and my son is with his dad. Something fun, to take the pressure of it being an actual 'date' out of the equation. Mini golf or bowling would be a prime example. Something where we can both be relaxed and laugh would be ideal.
