I've been in school for quite a while now pursuing an advanced degree and am now finished and looking forward to having a social life again. I like to read, watch movies, go to sporting events (big STL Cardinals fan), play sports, spend time with my family, and visit my friends (who are scattered around the country) when I have spare time. I love TV. Some of my favorite shows are The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Psych, Bones, The Office, and Community...so pretty much I like comedies, or drama/comedy hybrids. I'm not much for outdoor activities (except sports), mainly due to allergies. I'm certainly not a woman that sits by and takes much, I'm a very independent and strong-willed person. I also have a very sarcastic sense of humor...it's a family trait ;-)I have spent my entire life in pursuit of higher education and my goals and aspirations will probably always be centered around the pursuit of knowledge and disseminating that knowledge to others. I feel like learning is something to which everyone should have a right.

Ok but in all seriousness, I'm a brutally honest person, mostly laid back, love life, love to laugh. I really love meeting people, I'm a huge people person. Not really shy at all. I don't judge, I'm very open-minded, if I dislike, I have a reason. I believe every person has a "type" they are interested in. If you have no intention of meeting up eventually, it's probably better not to message me. I can list off likes and dislikes, but some of them would require explanations that I can't mention, so we'll leave that for chatting. I have been stupid, made mistakes, and need to mention no regrets. They are the reason I am who I am. I recently made a new decision in my life, which is going to be hard to keep, but we'll see what happens. I have no problem going out, but I CANNOT, for the life of me, stand drunken stupidity. It drives me mad, and I will walk away so fast, you won't see me leave. Not saying I haven't done stupid things, I'm just too mature to watch others ask for all that attention!
