Hi, everybody! I'm the girl with a million contradictions. I love to wear a pretty dress and heels, but I'm just as comfortable in flip-flops and jeans. I love to go to fancy dinners, but there is something about a dive bar that calls to me. For a while I waited for the meet-cute to happen. You know, the meeting with a significant other that happens in a grocery store when you both reach for the same jar of pickles. I dressed to the nines to go food shopping, to the gas station, even the dry cleaners. Yeah, it turns out love doesn't work like that outside of romantic comedies...much to my disappointment. So, here I am.Here's what I look for in a man: someone confident who knows himself really well. I want someone to put me first, so I can put him first. I want someone who is never going to change, and who has enough respect for himself not to try to change for someone else. I am ambitious, smart, fun-loving, and hardworking. I love to laugh and I love trying new things. I really enjoy running. I ran my first half- To celebrate my 30th birthday, I plan to run 30 Races in the Year of ***from October ***to October ***. I think I will mostly stick with 5k's. Half-marathons really did a number on my knees and now I can't run long distances without suffering knee pain. I'm hoping to find 5k's that donate to charities. When my knees starting hurting back in March, I took up yoga. I don't make time for it as consistently as I should but I really enjoy it. It's great to challenge yourself in new ways and you'd be surprised by what a difference in strength you'll see after just a few sessions.I love to read. My New Year's resolution was to read 50 books this year. I'm on track to meet my goal. I love to play pool and Bananagrams. I love spending time with my family. I get along with my parents pretty well. I think I am a lot like my dad: frugal, smart, hardworking, generous, and self-critical. I work very hard to be like Jesus. I want people to see Him in me.
