About Me

I want someone to meet for drinks after work, to see a band with, to take an adventure with. I don't want to talk about a twenty year plan or what our kids will look like, I want to live in the moment and have fun. I'm single-never-married twenty something and my goal is to be happy. That's what I'm supposed to write here, yes? I usually describe myself as the coolest person you will ever meet. I've seen a lot of things and been a lot of places and I don't intend on stopping anytime soon. I like stoner movies (all of them), tattoos (that aren't from prison or look like they could be), Ke$ha (don't judge me), PBR (I'm not a dude, I swear), and long car rides (that don't include listening to country music -- not that there's anything wrong with country music.) I also like typing things with parenthesis, apparently. Oh, I live at home. With my mom. And my stepfather. And my younger brother. With fragmented sentences. It's not because I'm not a grown up or anything like that, but I never really saw the point in moving out since it's not really a terrible situation. So there's that. I'm supposed to talk about what makes me unique. This will probably frighten off the people it's supposed to -- most of my friends are gay. Well, not only are most of them gay, I also am extremely involved in the drag queen scene. They're not going to hit on you, or whatever other silly thing you think is going to happen by being around them. But my best friend? Totally a drag queen. Most of what I do when I'm out of town? Drag queen things. Doesn't mean I'm not down to go to a baseball game or a museum or the beach or a dive bar out of town -- it just means you have to be cool with that. I suppose if you read all of that, you're probably pretty awesome. And I'm pretty awesome. So let's talk. Or.... whatever it is we do now....- H Really? Surprise me. I'm down for anything, as long as it's not the Gourmet Buffet.

    Currently, I work in the Marketing and Advertising field and I enjoy what I do. I still have the satisfaction of learning something new everyday, which keeps me coming back for more. Fun facts about me:- If music is playing, I will be singing along- However, karaoke terrifies me -!)- I'm a foodie and love to try new restaurants around the city- Favorite weekend activity: laughing all night long with a good group of friends- Sarcasm is absolutely necessary most of the time- I love traveling, and feel that life is a bit unsettling without a trip planned in the near future - Champagne and chocolate are two of my favorite things I am pretty easy going, and love a new adventure. A great first date could be anything from trying a new restaurant downtown, to an activity that takes us outdoors. Sporting events are great, as well - I mean, hockey season is here!

    I enjoy being in the city, but I prefer to live on the outskirts. I've been an avid equestrian (competitive) for nearly 20 years. Right now I've been loaned two project horses that I work with on a regular basis.I'm looking for someone to have fun with and see where it leads. Over the years I've learned to keep the good ones close and the people that attract excessive drama far from reach - I don't play games and I sure hope you don't either. I have a witty/dry sense of humour and enjoy a broad range of music (some very cool, some very guilty pleasure). I don't consider shopping a hobby or care what brand my purse is; and beer is my drink of choice (Barking Squirrel is my fave). I'm not really into camping, but cottaging is fun. I like being near the water. I'm over the club scene and would rather go to a pub or Food & Drink Show (so much fun!).My idea of fun includes (but not limited to):dinner or pool parties;hiking;kayaking;the drive-in;;a night in;wine/brewery tours;anything with the horses;traveling.
