I am into sustainable agriculture, food justice, indigenous worldviews, low-impact living, buddhism, bike commuting/touring, hiking/backpacking, exploring, adventuring, drawing, reading, and watching cool documentaries... and the rest of the time just being totally satisfied to be low-key and doing simple things at or around home (wherever that is). Things that excite me in the short to medium term include starting up a small organic farm of my own (I am currently apprenticing), learning construction (and various other useful/interesting skills), building a tiny house on wheels, doing road trips and bike tours and backpacking trips, learning to rock climb, ETC. I have a real zest for life and hope you do too.All that said, I should mention that I am super shy in groups of people, and will probably not be joining you at parties or hanging out with big groups of friends, although I'm continually working on being more comfortable in those situations. I love getting to know people, but I'm an introvert so I prefer one-on-one or smaller groups. Something simple and low-key for a first date (but seriously, let's not call it a date until it is ok?***maybe grabbing a bite to eat and going for a walk, getting to know each other a little. Beyond that, if you're into doing something that involves any of the 'interests' I listed above, that sounds like a great way to get to know each other. I also love trying new things, especially outdoors.
