I love photography, movies and music. Also like travel and hope to visit many places in the future, though I am very content living in Dieppe (can't imagine a better place to live). I have varied taste in music, too many to list but if you wanna know feel free to ask. I started hiking 2 years ago and absolutely love it, nothing better than the adventure and getting the chance to explore nature. I also enjoy the occasional camping trip during the summer.I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and that we must never take anything for granted in life. After all we never know what tomorrow will bring, so grasp every moment and live life to the fullest. I am a woman who knows what she wants in life and goes after her dreams with perserverance and determination no matter what it takes. I have achieved some of my personal goals such as a job that I love, I have my own apartment and car. Looking for that special guy with a good head on his shoulders who shares the same beliefs and similar life goals as myself. Someone who is respectful, faithful, trustworthy, caring, romantic, affectionate, kind and fun to be around.Excited to see what life has in store for me, each day is a gift. What will you do with yours?Looking forward to hearing from you :)

So, going on the ideas listed above, my hobbies would include trying to live a more active and healthy lifestyle, a good book and a drink from Starbucks, and general artsy/crafty things. I've also done a few 5k runs, and try to supplement my running with Crossfit workouts (I try my best!) I enjoy watching hockey games, and am a Habs fan, but to be completely honest I only follow hockey during the playoffs. I'm a recent B.Ed grad, and want to have a career working with youth. I'm not 100% sure if I want a classroom job or not, but I'm very passionate to help those kids in need. If I was a classroom teacher, I would love to teach biology! I chose my profession based on my desire to make a difference in the lives of youth, and learning (and school in general) has always been a passion of mine.; I'm a homebody that way. I grew up near the ocean and absolutely love the sound of the waves crashing on shore. I'm very apprehensive about trying new things, but I will always try. I'd love to try hiking, canoeing, and camping, but I have a genuine freak out issue with spiders and "creepy crawly" things; though, I do have a degree in Biology (from Dalhousie, which includes a minor in Psychology and History)I suppose I should talk about my taste in music - but I'm pretty easy going. I listen to the radio, but grew up with CCR and old school rap (like Snoop, when he was good) I follow a few TV shows, but have yet to see all the Star Wars movies (I know, I know) and most of my friends think I'm quirky (unique, right?) and funny. I'd like a first date to be something with a relaxed atmosphere where you can get to know someone. Dinner and a movie is too cliche and almost feels like too much pressure - and you can't chat during the movie. Or the putting edge or bowling, maybe even skating on the oval. Dinner might be okay - but who really wants to watch someone eat? Plus, I'm a picky eater. Or, drinks and board games!!!! Chess at Starbucks! Okay.. I'm a little nerdy.

You: You're a mature, responsible and independant person. At the same time, you don't take life too seriously and love to laugh. You must be able to hold your own in an intelligent, engaging and meaningful conversation-nothing is sexier!Me: My young son is my world and truly, my best buddy! Any person I choose to include in my life would need to understand that my son would remain my top priority although my heart is large enough to share.I have a professional career that I enjoy immensely and I also do volunteer work that I am very passionate about. Although not spiritual in the religious sense of the word, I'm a firm believer in karma. I do expect that the good that I put out in the world will come back to me somehow, someday. Far from an introvert, I've discovered that I'm also quite extroverted, making me an ambivert (who knew?). I can be a bit challenging at times, in the sense that I have high expectations of myself and choose to usually keep company with those who can challenge me in return. I love to learn, especially about others and what makes them tick. I'm more of a listener but can talk your ear off if you ask me the right questions.I enjoy hot yoga, photography (still very amateur), a good book, good food, good wine, etc. Music is a passion of mine, from an appreciation standpoint as I have zero musical talent myself! It's the soundtrack to my life and I am constantly seeking out new artists to listen to while always enjoying my "classics". Fall is my favourite season, if not for the beautiful colours, for the crispness of the air, the smell of bonfires and for an excuse to get into a costume at Halloween.I am thoroughly enjoying my independence and the ability to experience so many new things that life has to offer. Although I am not actively seeking a typical long-term relationship, I will certainly not shy away from one if it were to organically happen. Meeting new and interesting folks for stimulating conversation and exciting shared experiences will never be dull to me.***To make it easy on us both, I am not interested in casual sex so please don't bother asking! Also, if you can't formulate a coherent sentence beyond "hey cutie", "how r u?" or make a decent attempt at good grammar when you message me, chances are that I will not reply. I guess that means you'll also have to read to the end of my profile to know this!*** Keep it simple and easy to escape from...choices are endless!
